“I am in love with you. Your honor, your determination, how you treat your family, but mostly I love you for the way you make me feel—cherished, like I’m something precious, protected, but still free. I love you because you’re stubborn, and you push back when I’m wrong, but you’re strong enough to step aside when I’m right. And yes, I’m glad you said it first, because I’m not sure I would have had the courage to.”

This was the only book that I hadn’t read the by Penelope. I had always wanted to read it, but I had seen a lot of mixed reviews and that was why whenever I was going to read it, I always ended up reading something else instead.
Recently, I was told that Tyler’s son was going to end up with Madoc’s—from the falling away series— daughter, and since I’m desperately waiting for the Hellbent series, I decided to give this book a try and get to know these characters.
The book wasn’t bad but I just didn’t enjoyed much as other Pen’s books. I liked the main characters’ relationship, it was entertaining.
Now that I’ve read this book, I’m ready for Christian and A.J’s book. For what I saw in a bonus scene, they will an age-gap rivals to lovers story and I really love those tropes. ...more

“I love you, Frannie. I don’t know if I’m any good at it. God knows I failed in the past. But I love you. And when you love someone …” He glanced over at the girls and gave them a wink before meeting my eyes again. “You want to be with them. I want to be with you.”
“Maybe things wouldn’t always be easy in the future, but I knew I’d never regret taking this risk. Love was worth every risk. ”
This book was better “Maybe things wouldn’t always be easy in the future, but I knew I’d never regret taking this risk. Love was worth every risk. ”
This book was better than I expected. A lot of people told me that the book wasn’t so good but for me it was really good. It was cute and angsty. I was excited about this book because I found lily really cute in Bound by Honor, and in that book we could also see that she had a major crush on Romero.
These two are my second favorite couple in this series. They’re are really cutest couple in the series, and it hurt me so hard seeing how they couldn’t be together because Romero was just a mere soldier.
The only thing that I didn’t like about this book was how rushed the ending was. It was the rushed ending ever. I mean... I loved the ending because they got to finally be together but It also left me waiting for something to happen. I think the author likes to write rushed endings because now think about all her endings are kind of rushed.
This book and bound by hatred are my favorite. Matteo and Romero are my best boys in this series. I don’t think they could be topped.

“It was as easy as that. Whenever I looked at the photo of Giulia and our little family that I carried in my wallet, one overwhelming feeling filled me: happiness.”
This was one of my most anticipated books of the month. I thought I was going to love it, since it has some of the tropes I love to read but it wasn’t the case.
I couldn’t connect with the main characters or their story. But I loved the kids and I think that was the only reason why I kept reading.
I’m only giving this book 3 stars, because as I said, I loved all the scenes the kids where in. I really hope that Daniele get his own book; I loved him and I think he deserves a book just like the other kids from Sins of the Fathers. ...more

This was my fav book in the series and also one of my fav books of the year.
I really wish I could give this book more than 5 stars because for me, this is the kind of books that deserves endless stars.
I fell in love with these characters in Long Shot and since I saw their first scene together, I knew they were gonna be my fav couple.
Lotus Dupree is one of the strongest female characters I’ve read and she deserved all the happiness she got at the end of this book. Kenan? God, he’s the best man I know; everyone women deserve a man like him.
