Like my friend Allison said this book is very hard to read alone you defenetly need a shoulder to lean on and someone to help you thrue this book it took me the whole night to read it and it left me in such a messed up staight that i slept the whole day afterwards and need to read sweet books for awhile its defenetly the darkest book i read im not as big of a dark reader as a lot of people on Goodreads from start to finish of truly dark reads i only read Dark Duet, Escape from Paradise, Her Masters Courtesan other books i either didnt read or didnt finish but this book is the most disturbing one and made me sick in a few places its also one of the most confusing books i read i only guessed one twist and even that hapened closer to the ending. I would have given it a higher rating if it was complitly original for me a few scienes had dejavu to other books in the genre even though the thiem itself is more than original i also felt the heroin was puting herself in danger quite a few times when it was obvius that to just shut up for awhile is better im all for strong heroines but i think in survival instinct its smart sometimes to submit if you know that you cant win in this situation anyway and it will only lead to more torture. but she is defenetly one of the fighting heroines in Captive ,Captor books though the outcome is again Stockcholm Syndrome but that comes with the genre i know that this book is probebly not for my friend Jie because it has what she might consider cheating especially considering the lead charecters have a sort of HEA tougether and its defenetly not for people who dont like dark books i know most dark readers and mind fuck fans would love it though ok i desided to ad a star because this book managed to do something no other dark reads did for awhile complitly shock me and quite often i guess plot twists early not here , here everything wasnt like it seems .
