“Three words, large enough to tip the world. I remember you.”
liked the first half of the book but then found it way too repetitive. i honestly didn't care about her past or henry's past. i just wanted their relationship to develop but it wasn't it... idk i feel kind of sad because i've been wanting to read this for such a long time.

“You’re a prisoner to my affection. A slave to your own mutual craving. Together, we are shackled by two hearts that only beat with vigor when the other is near.”
the amount of drama that happened in this novella really put me off. its literally a 100 pages of bla bla bla bla bark bark woof woof. idk if you understand me, i wouldn't blame you.
the smut was GOOD tho. so if you don't care about anything but smut then go ahead and read LMAO. ...more

i knew i was going to love this book with every single part of my body when i first started reading pam godwin’s books. i knew she’s one of my fav authors ever so its expected… i was saving this up for so long that dear god i would look at the cover and convince myself not to read it because it wasn’t the right time. why? idk, don’t ask me. i was just waiting for the perfect moment.
the day has arrived. i read it. i fucking loved every line in this book. i was contemplating giving it 4.5 stars because ashely’s character change PISSED ME THE FUCK OFF but i’m a fucking simp and i can’t help it ...more

“You have to have one person in your life that you know would never do anything to steer you wrong. They may disagree with you. They could even break your heart, from time to time. But you have to have one person, at least, who you know will always tell you the truth.”
i didn't like any of the characters. i didn't care about the plot. i hated billy. i just idk everyone loved this and i understand because the writing is amazing, but this was not for me.
got a 2 instead of a 1 because of the audiobook. yes i listened to it on x2. LMAO. ...more

“I love you... More than all the stars in the universe. In this life and ever after. I love you.”
not worth my time and energy. i was highkey excited for this because i love carnivals and add mystery and murders—i'm sold. this however was a fucking shitshow.
worst experience of my life. you can't add a love triangle 3 books in (especially after they confessed their love and were about to get married). like wtf? and the second love interest being a carbon copy of thomas? fuck off.
this was a mess. AR was selfish and annoying. she literally only cares about herself. ugh i hate girls that would do and hurt anyone to prove their point. just ugh. ...more

“For there are no limits to the stars; their numbers are infinite. Which is precisely why I measure my love for you by them. An amount too boundless to count.”
the rating is so low because this series in terms of "mystery" sucks. i mean the minute we get introduced to the character—it becomes so obvious that they are the killer.
i'm reading for the sake of reading. its not bad, just really boring. i get that its YA but this is childs play. i like the characters though. its such a slow slowburn.
this series is just not for me. i will be continuing because i have physical copies but its not worth buying or starting this series. ...more

now for everyone who will see this, yes yes i did change it from 5 to 3.75 stars. lemme explain. i did like the book but its def not 5 star material (to me). i felt like i needed to give it 5 stars because everyone did. honestly thats how i used to be back in june but i'm not like that anymore lmao.
i couldn't get into the writing and yes i know its beautiful bla bla bla but sometimes i just need the fucking writing to be simple lmao. i was pretty confused in the beginning because i had NO clue what was going on. it was going so slow that i felt like i missed half the story.
now this was obviously emotional but i didn't cry. i knew how everything would end, not because i got spoiled or anything, but just because it was predictable.
i think my main issue is that i'm not a fan of TJR's writing style opps....more

"Love is looking at someone as if the stars shine in their eyes."
not gonna lie i loved the whole setting of this book. i didn't like the pacing of this, it was very slow. it is hard to start and understand what is going on, but once it gets to you, it's actually so beautiful.
i love bastien so much. god he gave me butterflies. celine is a great character and she was so smart and didn't take anyone's bullshit. i liked that she was so independent that she didn't need anyone's help.
that ending???? what that should be a crime. to leave a book at such a cliffhanger ugh. i did love that it was predictable (at least for me)....more

i just don't get the hype. its not a bad book but people literally praise this as if its the holy bible. i say just watch the movie y'all ain't missing out. but then again i'm not into classics, i don't know whats good or bad. i just find the story very average. i don't even love the characters. ...more
