From the start, Eva Jacob enters a torrid affair with Derrick Hoffman with her eyes wide open. It is strictly a sex affair. So, why after many months did she have to go and fall in love with him? And to make matters even more complex, after Eva ends things with Derrick because she knows that he will never share her feelings, she discovers that she is pregnant with his child.
Derrick Hoffman is a ‘No-Strings-Attached’ type of guy. Continuous childhood family rejection issues have manifested themselves into his adult life to where he shows no emotions for fear it is a sign of weakness. That is until he learns that Eva Jacobs is having his baby. Yet, instead of admitting to his true feelings, Derrick bulldozes Eva into agreeing to what appears to be a loveless marriage.
A Hard Man to Love is a spectacular read! Just as Eva, I have a love/hate relationship with Derrick. One minute I despise him to no end because of his coldhearted actions and then, in the very next, I feel sorry for him because of his heartfelt emotional pain. I commend Eva for not allowing Derrick to walk all over her. But, when you think about it, it takes a special kind of woman of strength and determination to forever hold Derrick’s heart. It was a joy to see how Eva masterfully cracks Derrick’s protective shell forcing him to receive love, not only by her, but from his family as well. The passion showcased between Eva and Derrick is spicy hot and very naughty. Whew! I loved everything about this novel and I am excited to bestow Delaney Diamond’s A Hard Man to Love as a Joyfully Reviewed Recommend Read!
Note: A Hard Man to Love is book two in the Hawthorne series and can be enjoyed as a standalone novel.

Rahul is totallllly swoony, the perfect hero and a virgin Dirty British Romance, Book 2 Self Published Contemporary Reviewed by Joy for Joyfully Reviewed
Rahul is totallllly swoony, the perfect hero and a virgin when we begin. meow!!! Jasmine is a thoroughly modern heroine who is unrepentantly herself and owns her sexuality. Jasmine is extremely wary of committment and has lots of issues when it comes to relationships, she doesn't do them, ever. Her lack of a relationship with her mom at a very young age formed within her a total fear of abandonment.
After a one time sexual encounter, Jasmine gives Rahul the option of either being a friend or a casual hook up, but not both. Rahul takes door number one as he can't imagine not being in Jasmine's life for the long haul. You see Rahul falls very much in love with our very independent heroine and being her friend means more to him than trying to change her.
Ms. Hibbert gives Jasmine and Rahul time to not only figure out themselves within these thirty days together, but as individuals. Their journey towards finding love is very realistic. I felt like I was witnessing a realtionship work out in real time.
I loved that everything wasn't wrapped up in a neat bow after those thirty days were up. Rahul realizes that for them to continue going forward in any sort of relationship, their friendship has to be on a more even keel. He's been a great friend to Jasmine much more than she has been to him. Jasmine realizing that not only does she need to be a better person to her friends, especially Rahul, but she needs to learn to how to love herself, seeks therapy. She also has another issue she must deal with as well.
Talia Hibbert is a new to me author and she certainly delivered on all levels. Wanna Bet is a very intuitive, romantic, relevant and hot read. For some couples, the journey to true love isn't always a total joy ride. Working on being a better you, means you need to step back for a bit in order to go forward in a relationship. I finished Wanna Bet with a complete sense of total enjoyment. I am a big sucker for an epilogue, Jasmine and Rahul's was the icing on a romance filled cake. I declare Wanna Bet to be a Joyfully Recommended Read.
***Trigger Warning: Wanna Bet contains themes of parental neglect and abandonment, parental death, and alcohol dependence.

Having just moved to New York City and living with her best friend Paige, her life is exciting. To top it off, she is about to start a new job at one of the top companies in the world, The Osbourne Corp, where she will be one of three interns in the accounting department. What Mallory doesn’t know is that she is about to meet the man who will not only change her life sexually but that she's been the star of his fantasies for years.
After seeing Mallory for the first time years ago, Miles Osbourne fell in love with her but he couldn't do anything about it, one because she was too young at the time and two, he wanted everything to be in place so that he could provide her with anything her heart desired. Now years later it’s time for all of his plans to come to fruition and to finally claim Mallory as his own. Finally being able to be so close to her, is causing him to make mistakes before he is ready to show his hand. He is desperate and hopes that his missteps don't lose him the woman that he has come to love so deeply.
Everything For Her is the first book I have had the pleasure of reading from Alexa Riley and to be honest the storyline had me hesitant, but I’m really glad I did. Once I started, I was sucked into a world of wants and desires that ran deep within characters that were very likable and a man that would do truly anything to get the woman he's loved from afar for so very long.
To be honest while reading Everything For Her, Miles started off as the creepy/borderline stalker type. I didn't understand the obsession he had in wanting Mallory so much when I’m sure he could have had any woman he wanted, after all he's good looking, rich and very powerful. But as I read further into Everything For Her, I found Miles to be sweet and not creepy at all. The things Miles did for Mallory were endearing and ranged from the smallest, simplest gestures to being outrageously and over the top at times. One thing I was never in doubt of was that Miles was completely, one hundred percent, in love with Mallory.
I liked Mallory from the very beginning; apart from being smart and a hard worker, she was just a simple girl trying to make it on her own. She wasn’t flashy or looking for someone to take care of her, in fact when she meets Miles for the first time I was surprised how much she tried to resist him.
Everything For Her is sweet, sexy and everything I love in a romance. I thoroughly enjoyed that it's written in dual povs but would have liked to have seen more of Miles pov as the story was unfolding. Ms Riley delivered a book that is truly unforgettable and I’m already anticipating the next book in the For Her series. It looks like Mallory’s roommate and best friend, Paige, is the next book in the series and I can’t wait for her story. Confession time, right after I read Everything For Her I started it again immediately, that’s just how much I loved it! I Joyfully Recommend Everything For Her and hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.

Since then, the serum has been locked away, but those whose powers had been awakened passed the magic on to their decedents, until powerful magical Houses had been formed. Some magical powers are subtle, some are deadly, and if the magic user is a Prime – one who possesses almost godlike powers – people have reason to fear their wrath.
Nevada Baylor is a private investigator who keeps her talent for lie-detection under wraps. When she’s forced to take on a job tracking down a Prime who has power over fire, she knows her abilities will do nothing to help her. Then she’s kidnapped by Mad Rogan, a Prime with unparalleled telekinetic powers, and Nevada’s skills are put to the test. Rogan, a devastatingly sensual billionaire, is Nevada’s opposite – powerful, cold, and has little regard for human life. But the two of them must team up if they want to track down their prey. And the more time they spend together, the more their mutual attraction threatens to send them up in flames. That is, if a certain pyrokinetic Prime doesn’t get to them first…
Burn for Me is an energetic, exquisitely crafted, utterly imaginative book I could not put down! Ilona Andrews has hit it out of the park with their first Hidden Legacy novel.
Nevada is a small-time private investigator who has worked hard to make her family business strong. When the company who owns her family’s firm forces her to take on a job she doesn’t have the resources to do, Nevada grits her teeth and takes on the job. I loved that – even when backed into a corner – Nevada doesn’t lose her spirit. She’s not invulnerable, but she will sacrifice anything and everything for her loved ones. Nevada is the kind of strong heroine I love, one who is smart, hardworking, has a spine of steel, but isn’t perfect. She gets an unlikely ally when she’s kidnapped by Connor “Mad” Rogan, a Prime who is as enigmatic as he is sexy. Rogan is a complex, fascinating hero who tempts Nevada even though she doesn’t want to be attracted to him. I loved peeling back the layers to Rogan’s character over the course of the story, and I can’t wait to learn more about him in future books. He’s devastatingly sensual and isn’t used to anyone naysaying him. Which, of course, is why Nevada is so perfect for him. They heat up the pages of Burn for Me in a way that would put a pyrokinetic to shame, and every time things got intense between them I was totally engrossed in the story. They don’t have a romance, per se, but there is the beginnings of what should be a powerful relationship that left me desperate to get my hands on the next Hidden Legacy book.
I’m a longtime fan of author duo Ilona Andrews’ Kate Daniels series, so when I started Burn for Me I was a little bit worried I wouldn’t find the world as deeply compelling as I do Kate’s world. I shouldn’t have worried. The magic of Nevada and Rogan’s world is different, yet no less well thought out or intriguing. The search for Adam, a pyrokinetic Prime, is an adrenaline-packed hunt that is so much more complicated than either Nevada or the reader initially know. Every piece of the puzzle Nevada and Rogan find leads to another question, and though one plotline is resolved in Burn for Me, it’s clear that there’s going to be an overarching series storyline that is just as exciting. I finished Burn for Me a well-satisfied reader, but I know there’s so much more to learn about the fabulous Hidden Legacy characters and often dangerous world they live in. Bring on White Hot!

With determination, she plans to move from Denver to San Francisco where there are more opportunities to be found. However, along the way, Eddy quickly learns that being a young, beautiful, unaccompanied, black woman brings misfortune and difficulty. After narrowly escaping a near death experience, Eddy is saved and nurtured back to health by a handsome white businessman.
A former Civil War Union solider, Rhine Fontaine enjoys the privileges of being a white man. No one other than his siblings and his best friend/business partner know that his mother was black. He has built a successful, respectable life in Virginia City, Nevada. All is well until he crosses paths with the breathtakingly beautiful Eddy Carmichael. For the first time in his life, Rhine wants to throw caution to the wind by being his true self and openly unite with the woman who sets his soul on fire.
I found Forbidden is a fascinating, enlightening, charming, and intriguing novel. From the first page, I am mesmerized and dismayed by the historical aspects, attitudes, and opinions about race relations after slavery. While, I fancy detailed sexual encounters that paints a very descriptive picture, the sensual interactions between Eddy and Rhine are sweet, ambiguous, and very satisfying. Their courtship is pleasurable and very conventional for their time period. Eddy is smart, hard-working, tough, and very wise especially when it comes to handling all the single townsmen attention. Likewise, Rhine is multifaceted, smart, fair-minded, kind, and compassionate. I so loved everything about this story. From Rhine’s innermost turmoil, to Eddy’s inward strength. Ms. Jenkins’ writing is so rich and factual that I could see Forbidden as a movie! I Joyfully Recommend this book for all to enjoy.

A representative for Hoan Dwell, a well-known and mysterious photographer, wants to showcase his work in her art gallery. But, there is one catch, Raven must agree to have dinner with him. Grudgingly, Raven agrees because loner by choice, she does not allow anyone to get too close other than her best friend from college, Noah Caldwell. Raven is shocked to discover that the covert Hoan Dwell is no other than Noah.
Noah Caldwell has been secretly in love with Raven since the moment they became friends ten years ago. However, Noah has never told her about his true feelings for fear that his past would cause her physical harm. Unable to deny his desire to have her any longer, Noah proposes a deal that Raven could not refuse – a month long affair in exchange for an exclusive showing of his renowned artwork in her gallery.
Exposure is a must read type of novel. From start to finish, I was deeply captivated by thrilling suspense and sensual romantic affair. I just had to know how the storyline would unfold. Would there be a ‘happily-ever-after’? What would become of Raven and Noah’s friendship once the intimacy lines were cross? Would Noah’s secret past cause harm to Raven? These are all the good mixtures of a spectacular novel and will keep you hanging on the edge of your seat with breathtaking anticipation. Raven and Noah are a dynamic couple that will have you rooting for them to overpower and eliminate the baggage from their past; but, most importantly, for them to find happiness with one another. The chemistry between them is off the charts and the sexual encounters will have you fanning your flaming face. Kudos to Kelly Moran for writing such an emotional, sexy, and suspenseful storyline. I Joyfully Recommend getting your hands on Exposure. You will not be disappointed!

First, a war that almost tore the entire world apart and then shock after a madness brought chaos, and then finally a tentative peace with the Trinity Accord. While many of the strongest Psy, Changeling, and Humans are doing everything they can to achieve the peace the world needs so desperately, there are many strong people of all the races who are determined to destroy the agreement before its roots can grow strong and sink in deep. As the days and weeks go by, it becomes apparent to those backing the Accord that more changes will need to be made to the backbone of the Accord itself so that it can grow and include more than the first signers.
That would have been enough to keep the Humans, Changelings and Psy busy, but life must go on and as the DarkRiver and the SnowDancers get ready to welcome the pupcubs and the Arrows of all ages are learning to feel and love, a cry for help is located from one of the missing BlackSea Changelings, and it appears that the Coalition believes that Lucas and Sasha’s daughter is the perfect way to destroy the tentative peace. It’s all hands on deck to not only find the missing BlackSea member and keep all of the children safe, because it’s not just Naya that is in danger, but all of the children from every group who signed the Accord. There are many changes both happy and sad that happen as the various groups learn to talk with each other and share in order to protect and grow. The world is never going to be perfect, but maybe so long as communication and cooperation continues to happen, the world just might find the peace it’s seeking.
Buckle up because this is going to be a bumpy and emotional ride but so, so worth it. Allegiance of Honor ties-up many threads from the first arc in Ms. Singh’s wonderful world. We get to catch up on all of our favorite couples and characters, learn more about some recently introduced characters, and see the trundles of what is in store for this world when the new story arc unfolds. As with life, not all of the experiences are joyful ones, but even in sorrow, you can also find joy, and I experienced this in a couple of places. Of course, there is the great suspense we have come to expect in a Psy/Changeling book. And I was so very impatient to see the birth of the pupcubs—another wonderful moment you will love to experience.
As I closed the book, I knew that the world and my favorite characters would continue to live their lives, and I might see glimpses of what they are doing much later down the road, but I have to admit that it was a bittersweet feeling. I actually read the book twice before I even tried to write this review and then had to re-do this several times—all because I wanted to tell you about so many points that just grabbed me. In the end, I just have to Joyfully Recommend Allegiance of Honor as a true must-read and an absolute keeper. Heck, if we had a higher category to rate a book, I would have given it to this one. I can’t wait for this book to come out so I can discuss it in detail with other rabid readers.
Ms. Singh has produced a major hit to end a favorite story arc and deserves to take a bow, but a quick one so that she can give us the next adventure in this growing world…hint, hint.

After serving his sentence he’s gone on to build a successful business but finds himself forced to return to Destiny in order to care for his aunt. That child is now a boy with a chip on his shoulder and when Duke finds out about him, he’s determined to have a role in his son’s life. But he can’t decide if wants a role in Grace’s life, even if he still has feelings for her.
I’ve never read Sugar Jamison before and I’m so excited I’ve found a new author to devour! Betting the Bad Boy was hit! I fell in love with both Duke and Grace and wanted them to find the love that was stolen from them. I could totally understand Duke’s feelings toward Destiny along with Grace’s complicated relationship with her father. I will be keeping my eyes out for more books in the The Bad Boys of Destiny series!

Can Bria convince him to give into her and prove he can control the darkness? Or will Jenner continue to run from his past?
It’s been a long time since I’ve read a vampire romance that enthralled me as much as The Dark Vampire. Kate Baxter has skillfully drawn me in and not only made me invest in Jenner and Bria’s story but left me jonesing for what I know will be stories for the secondary characters. How can I wait? I’ll be stalking the new releases for the next addition of this series!!

Rhys Winterborne has money and success. He can pretty much have whatever he wants. That is, until he meets Lady Helen Ravenel. She’s everything Rhy’s isn’t, shy, innocent and he’s determined to do whatever it takes to possess her. Even if that means compromising her to ensure she marries him. Helen knows that Rhys is beyond anything she’s experienced before. But that doesn’t stop her from falling for him. But when unexpected issues from the past come back and try to come against them can they survive and have a future together?
When I first saw that Lisa Kleypas had a new historical available, I was so excited. I’ve loved her Travis series but have to admit I have missed reading her historicals. I wasn’t disappointed! Marrying Winterborne is everything that I have come to expect and love from Lisa Kleypas. Enthralling and sexy, this one will definitely be re-read many times!!
Tamra Day doesn’t need anything more in her life than what she has already. Yet as time wears on, Tamra begins to hunger for something…more. However, Tamra Day doesn’t need anything more in her life than what she has already. Yet as time wears on, Tamra begins to hunger for something…more. However, the pickings in Coral Cove aren’t exactly abundant for this garden designer, and the one that seems to pique her interest does so in more ways than one.
Jeremy Sheridan, a war hero, decides to make a new start in a completely new area. Not wanting to rely upon the kindness of friends and family, he takes his wounded self to Coral Cove and attempts to make something more of what’s left of his life. Signing on to help with the heavy lifting for the newly designed golf course, Jeremy finds that his new boss, Tamra, is way too controlling and fun to tease, but he just can’t help himself.
As these two learn to work together to get a job done for the town, they soon find that being together is more combustible than they ever dreamed. And discovering what makes the other tick just might be the answer to the piece that they were missing all along.
Take Me All the Way is a hot, sexy read about common everyday people that is relevant to today’s time. Jeremy with his baggage that he brought to Take Me All the Way endeared him to this reader, because underneath that pain was the real man waiting to be unearthed. He felt real and complete with his hero capabilities, softness in the right places, and hardness when it was justified in Take Me All the Way.
Tamra held herself aloft to most of her friends, but Jeremy quickly ascertained things about her that no one else seemed to pick up on in Take Me All The Way. She knew that she was finally getting to the proper place in her life to be open to something more, and Jeremy showed up as though he was an answer to a prayer in Take Me All the Way. However, it wouldn’t be an easy feat, as these two still had some growing to do in Take Me All the Way, but watching them grow and bind together was quite amusing and entertaining in Take Me All the Way.
Because of the sheer joy I found in reading Take Me All the Way, I Joyfully Recommend it for a frolicking good time lounging on the beach! However, be warned that it isn’t to be taken lightly, because if you look beyond the surface, you may just find hints of yourself in these two protagonists or perhaps of those you love.

Drake continues her True Heroes series in style with Ultimate Courage. I seriously cannot get enough of this series and the characters within. As a reader I felt like I was returning home to the family as I read through the pages. I LOVE these people and the dogs!
Ultimate Courage opens with our heroine Elisa Hall on the run and in the need of help. Our hero Alex Rojas is ex-military suffering from PTSD while single parenting his rambunctious daughter Selena “Boom” Rojas. Elisa and Alex’s paths cross and are forever changed. These two are like magnets once they connect there is no pulling them apart. Their chemistry is on fire and as they explore it the pages get hot, hot, hot! Speaking of chemistry there is another character that enchants the reader and that would be Souze. Souze is a German Shepard Dog that is rehabilitating at Hope’s Crossing Kennels. Souze is having trouble rehabbing but he may just be perfection for Elisa and Alex. I love their journey together throughout the book.
I love the themes throughout the book. Ultimate Courage features strong family connections whether by blood or by choice. The connection between the men of Hope’s Crossing Kennels and the people that surround them is powerful. They are all a force to be reckoned with. Ultimate Courage is also about survival. You can feel such hope while reading. All of the characters are struggling with different levels of issues and they are surviving the best they can while leaning on each other. I love this!
If you want a thrilling, heartwarming read then Ultimate Courage is a MUST! Drake redefines the action hero with the strong, sexy, sensitive men of her True Heroes series and the dogs they train! I am Joyfully Recommending Ultimate Courage! I cannot wait for the next book!

That’s how he finds himself drunk and married in Vegas to Lydia Carpenter. Lydia has been running for mayor of Cooper Ridge, so when she wakes up married to her best friend’s ex fiancé, she knows that if she want to win her election, she needs to stay married. Colton agrees to help Lydia by staying married. Neither can admit that the real reason they got married isn’t so much because of how drunk they were but rather that they have been attracted to each other for a very long time. Will they admit how they feel and stay together after the election is over?
I’m hooked on Cooper Ridge and Tough Luck Hero may be my favorite story yet! I’ve been waiting and hoping that something would happen to stop Colton from the terrible marriage he had planned to a “suitable” woman. I could see the sparks between Lydia and Colton and was intrigued! Maisey Yates didn’t disappoint me! I loved every minute of Tough Luck Hero and can’t wait to see what is coming next in Cooper Ridge!

The thing is – he knows he’s Damien Mitchell, founder and lead bass player for Sinner’s Gin, the hottest band on the planet. His body is covered in what appears to be recent surgery stitches, among other things so why won’t they listen to him? When a fire breaks out Damien makes his move. Incredibly he’s helped by a gunman shooting at him.
Months later his memories are still somewhat scrambled and headaches continue to plague Damien, but he’s back in San Francisco and playing on the streets he remembers from the past when he and Miki St. John began their band. Finnegan’s Pub was a favorite for them until the owner, a little old Irish woman, always chased them off.
This time it’s different because his gran has passed and Sionn Murphy is the man in charge. At first Sionn plans to ask the busker to move on, but the hauntingly intense young man pulls the Irishman every which way. Days pass as Sionn and the man called ‘Dee’ begin a tentative friendship. Damien is desperate to find his Miki, but he has yet to tell Sionn the truth. Slowly he begins to open up. It’s going well until someone begins shooting, again.
Author Rhys Ford deftly weaves a tragic tale into a heart swelling triumph with Whiskey and Wry. Book two in the Sinner’s series returns to the world of the Sinner’s Gin band and a certain complicated Irish family in another addictive drama. Readers are drawn back into more twisted mysteries and great characterizations. A wholly damaged soul Damien will break your heart and Sionn will mend it back together. An absolute page turner these characters won’t leave you. I Joyfully recommend Whiskey and Wry. Laughter and tears and everything in between.

What team leader Connor Morgan and his men find instead is the bullet ridden body of Franklin Marshal moments before the RV blows into a million pieces. After the explosion Connor is there to comfort Marshal’s adopted son, Forest Ackerman.
Childhood was a bitter game of survival for Forest before the day Franklin came into his life. He spent his early years scrambling for food and shelter while his mother thought nothing of whoring him out for her own needs. Scrawny and starving Forest’s unlikely savior was an aging hippie who saw something special in the mouthy boy. Eventually Franklin managed to pry the child from his mother and gave him a decent life. Together they discovered his hidden talent as Forest immediately took to playing the drums.
On the night Forest’s beloved father is found murdered something intangible happens between the drummer and the SWAT officer. Days pass where neither can forget the comforting arms of the other. Each time Connor turns up at the coffee shop Forest’s heart beats faster. As for Connor, he’s becoming increasingly frustrated by his inability to forget the sexy, brown eyed man. See, Connor Morgan isn’t gay. Before he can come to grips with the situation however, an attempt is made on Forest’s life. Connor may be confused about his love life, but he’d make damn sure nobody else touched his drummer.
The Morgan family is back again with another sensuous, dangerous drama. Passion and murder take readers on a difficult journey in Tequila Mockingbird, book three in the excellent Sinner’s series. Forest and Connor, as well as the rest of the cast, come alive in this chilling tale of death. Forest is emotionally scarred, Connor is trying to redefine his sexuality. Author Rhys Ford takes her characters through hell and back and on top of the world with Tequila Mockingbird. These incredible characters stay with you long after the last page ends. I Joyfully recommend Tequila Mockingbird. This series is one of the best. Ever.

Earth’s atmosphere was crippled, volcanos erupted, and the land barely limped along. A thick layer of ash covered the skies and torrential, deadly rain storms seemed endless. In the end those who had underground hideaways were the strongest.
In post apocalyptic Chaos the Defiance Motorcycle Club and Keller’s mafia compound were able to thrive. Other groups survived as well, like the Lords of Vengeance Motorcycle Club who recently attempted to decimate Keller’s compound and caused great loss of life before they were driven off. Retaliation, however, was brutal. Whispers of another group called the Nomads were reported to have psychic talents, though no one ever lived to verify their existence.
To strengthen their home bases Defiance and Keller call a truce, an alliance against all others. Willing hostages are exchanged between them. Keller sends one of his top men, the assassin Declan to Defiance. The club is unaware that Declan and Rebel, one of the MC’s ranking members, are engaged in a secret relationship. Rebel is adamant that no one can know. His life could be in danger within the club if anyone found out. At first they were scratching an itch, but now it’s different. Neither will admit to love yet… Declan will be with Rebel every day, within reach. Talk about Chaos.
Temperance sets the stage for madness in a world few are equipped to handle. Life is cheap and love can be deadly in the fourth Defiance story. Brutal times, intense characters, and excruciating emotional baggage Temperance delivers a dynamic tale. Author S.E. Jakes, otherwise known as Stephanie Tyler, pens a terrific story set in a cruel future with potent characters, driving dialogue, and deadly rivals. This complex book will keep you up reading long past bedtime. I Joyfully recommend Temperance for her passionate cast, incredible sexuality, and a story not to be missed.

Leaving the ceremThe band mates of Sinner’s Gin were riding high from their sell-out worldwide tour and their spectacular night at the Grammy Awards. Leaving the ceremony the four young men were on top of the world, right up to the point where their car was struck by another driver. Only one survived. Lead singer Mieko ‘Miki’ St. John took his battered, broken body home to San Francisco where he holed up in his warehouse condo. There Miki hid from everyone as his body tried to mend and his soul withered to dust.
SFPD Inspector Kane Morgan rents space in a local warehouse to relax in his downtime by creating beautiful woodwork pieces. On this particular day off Kane’s deep into his zone when another tenant’s dog steals an expensive piece of wood from his stash. Confronting his neighbor Kane is intrigued by the seriously sexy stranger. And the conversation becomes extremely awkward when the Inspector makes a gruesome discovery – there’s a dead guy sitting in his neighbor’s GTO.
As the investigation gets underway Kane and his reclusive neighbor begin to grow closer. They have nothing in common except a rising body count of people that once upon a time tormented Miki and a passionate chemistry. Very quickly Kane is ready to protect the damaged singer from the world at large. As for Miki, he’s not quite sure how Kane got under his skin, but he did, like a tick, a hot erotic tick. Someone else, however has entirely different ideas for the singer and neither Kane nor Miki will like the killer’s plans.
Hold onto your seat. Sinner’s Gin is an original, character driven emotional tsunami with a murderous psychopath for extra kicks. The powerhouse dramatic storyline features incredibly poignant characters who will absolutely grab the reader’s heart. Secondary characters such as the Morgan clan are equally important to the story. Miki and Kane’s decidedly uncomfortable beginning highlights their unusual courtship, which further enriches Sinner’s Gin. These characters challenge and love each other at every turn of the page. I must Joyfully recommend Sinner’s Gin. This one will be read again and again.
