All the other people might call him Viper but he's Dean to her since the moment they meet. I loved how romantic he was, taking her to amazing date and just putting her first.
Rhiannon has always wanted to have someone in her life that wanted to look out for her and much to her surprise the guy she has been crushing on for a month is totally into her and wanted to be that someone for her. I was so happy to see that she was never afraid of Dean and was eager to learn everything about his lifestyle.

God of Vengeance is a story about Gabriella, who was mistreated by her family her whole life and Damiano Falco, the Capo Dei Capi of the Cosa Nostra. Gabriella and Damiano meet when her parents invite him to approve the marriage between her and his cousin but he says no, planning to marry her to someone who was like a son to him instead.
Damiano was busy a lot because of his work but I liked to see how good he was to Gabriella. She wasn't used to kindness and not only did he show that he was capable of it but he also gave her a family with other people in his house. The hero wasn't an angel but he helped Gabriella when he saw her family life and gave her the kind of freedom she never experienced before even if he wouldn't let her go free from the mafia life.
All in all could this book been better? Yes. But did I also have fun time reading it? Also a yes. God of Vengeance became my second favorite book of the series and I read it in less than a day. I really enjoyed the romance, especially after they decided to be together....more

I had no idea it was actually about one of the children from Perfectly Imperfect series until I saw a family tree in Neva Altaj's Instagram.
Vasilisa liked hacking and would have wanted to help her father, the leader of Chicago mafia with anything really with his business but he was too protective of her and only wanted her to marry a nice man. She on other hand didn't really like nice men and despite her fathers protests hacked on different businesses and even NASA. One day she hacked the wrong person and gets kidnapped.
I absolutely loved our hero, Rafael Di Santi. He might not be a good person as he tortured and killed people but he wasn't a monster either. Rafael didn't want to hurt children and this fact even got him very hurt years ago. He made me want to swoon multiple times in the book. Rafael could be manipulative but he was caring and protective. I loved how he still never sugarcoated things.
I might not have loved Vasilisa but I did enjoy reading about her. She loved her family and I think part of the reason I liked her is because her stress cleaning reminded me of Caroline Forbes in The Vampire Diaries. It gave Vasilisa a sense of control.
Women couldn't stomach looking at Rafael's scarred face, so he tried to prevent Vasilisa ever looking at him for awhile but much to his surprise she didn't react to it the way he thought she would. Vasilisa on other hand was tired of men only caring about her looks but he was different with her. She was relieved and disappointed how he seemed to not be interest in her but unlike other men he was interested to her as a person. Rafael listened to her and didn't make her feel hollow.
All in all I had so much fun reading this book. I really liked how Vasilisa was different to Rafael since the beginning and this was such a great mafia retelling of Beauty and the Beast. I'm very exited to read more books about the second generation....more

Blakely was kidnapped when she was twelve years old and her single dad went to jail. She didn't have any other family but she Gideon aka Storm. That changed few years ago when he had gotten out of military. She couldn't understand why he broke his promise.
Gideon planned to go back to her when she turned eighteen but that didn't happen. He dropped everything the minute he found out what happened with her. I liked how Blakely wasn't just love struck teenager who forgave him the minute he showed up but made it clear that he wouldn't be Gideon to her again until she could trust him.
All in all it was nice to get back to this world. I just wish they had dealed more with her trust issues. It's like they all disappeared when Gideon was back in her life and he didn't even need grovel much. But thankfully he showed with his actions how much he cared about her and how he wouldn't let anything between them. This book also made me really exited for Whiskey's book!...more

Fiona Davenport is the queen of insta love. I Another amazing book in Love series! This one is book fourteenth and I'm still in love with this series.
Fiona Davenport is the queen of insta love. I don't think there's a book I've disliked and Vow of Love was just amazing. It made it even better in my opinion that it was a spin off between Love series and the New York Nighthawks since that's Lennox's football team.
Lennox had no idea Brielle was the daughter of the guy who handles his investments. He just knew the second that he saw her that she was his. He was obsessive and possessive of her and he takes care of what's his. Brielle had no idea when she went to the beach that she would meet the one person who could change everything for her. She would finally have the kind of love that her parents had. Lennox felt the same devotion and love for her that her dad felt for her mom.
I almost couldn't put this book down and I think you definitely need to read it if you like insta love age difference books. ...more

Chase is a 38 years old head neonatologist for a large hospital in Manhattan. He hasn't been interested in a woman for years until Jenna bumps into him accidentally. The last time he was interest in someone was back when he was still a student so it has probably been as long as she has been alive. It only takes a one look to want her but he knows she's young, so Chase doesn't plan to see her again.
Chase had no idea that she was one of Justice's daughters. They're neighbors but he's always so busy with his job. He had no idea when he agreed to help Justice's daughter that he'd be obsessed with her and that he'd have to wait for seven weeks for her to turn eighteen.
All in all this is probably my favorite Fiona Davenport series, so it's no surprise I enjoyed this. It's insta love but I also feel like it was slow burn at the same time as they had to wait to be together. Baby Love reminded me a lot of His Love which still remains to be my favorite book in the series. ...more

Little Sunshine features Mila who has had a tragic life, even worse than Juliette. She didn't know who her father was and her mother was just plain awful. Her mother only cared about herself and didn't even want anyone to know she had a daughter. Mila felt like no one wanted her around and her mother just kept ruining her life.
After her mother gets her fired, Mila decided to steal a wallet to eat and this is how she meets Ash. He makes her return the wallet and then feeds her. I adored this as someone whose love language is food.
Just like Maximo, Ash is obsessed with our heroine but tries to hide it in the beginning. He wanted to protect her from himself and everyone who wanted to harm her. Mila was beautiful, strong, stubborn, too proud for her own good and needed someone to protect her and Ash wanted to be the one to do it. Unfortunately to him, even though Mila was used to starving and not having any money she was also too proud to accept anything from him.
Ash wanted her to depend on him and call him daddy. She'd never had someone make her feel like a priority before him or even pretend like she was one. I found it sad how because he was trying not to make her run away from him, she thought that he didn't really want her and that he was outside of her league and that he didn't trust her.
I liked Ash and Mila before they really got together but I much preferred them later in the book when they both knew they wanted each other and there was clear trust.
I really enjoyed the romance but I wish we had seen more friendships in this book, like just Ash and Maximo talking about their girls or Mila and Juliette hanging out more, especially in their book club.
All in all while this wasn't as good as the first book I really enjoyed this age difference book with daddy kink. I loved Ash in Little Dove, so I was so glad he got his own book. I'm really intrigued about what happens next but I'm not so sure I'll pick up the third book because it's A why-choose romance....more

Empire of Sin is the second book of Empire series but it can be read as standalone. Honestly my expectations were very low with this one. It could be because it has been awhile since I rated a book in this universe above three stars or just because I didn't love Knox in earlier books. I liked him don't get me wrong but he didn't make me exited to start this book either.
“Because you’re fucking mine, beautiful. No one gets to look at you or touch you. And if they make that mistake, I will end their miserable lives.”
Anastasia ran away from her family to keep Babushka safe and because her father never promised to keep her safe. She had been hidden her whole life, so everything felt heightened and unreal to her. She just wanted her freedom and one of the things she wanted with her freedom was to have sex. Anastasia had no idea that the person she had one night stand with would be working in the same workplace as she did with her new identity.
Women didn't disappear on Knox, ever but while he was asleep Anastasia left him without a word but luckily for him-- he gets to meet her again. Knox couldn't help but be drawn back to her but he was also annoyed by her. He couldn't stand liars and because of his ability to know when someone was lying, he saw right through to Anastasia.
I loved the romance! Anastasia and Knox understood each other so well and neither pressured the other to reveal their past. Knox might've hated that there were things she wasn't telling him but he was ready to wait forever for her to be ready to tell them instead of manipulating her to reveal everything.
Knox was also ready to go through heaven and hell to protect her and keep her as his. He has never felt a blinding possessiveness before and even if he was trying to downplay how much she meant to him, he wasn't completely in denial either. Anastasia was ready to do everything she could to keep him safe, too. All she wanted was for him to be alright.
Knox and Anastasia were meant to be just two people who enjoyed having sex with each other but I never felt like it was just sex between the two. They talked and she could even talk nerdy to him. They also became the best versions of each other because of each other.
All in all I couldn't decide between four and five stars, so I rated this 4.5 stars. Workplace and office romances are a little out of my comfort zone but I loved it in Empire of Sin and I was so relieved that neither cared about the other more than another....more

I have read few books from this series but haven't actually reviewed them. I feel like sports romance books are hit or miss for me so I'm careful which one I read but this one didn't only have a sports romance aspect but also gaming one so I was curious.
Gage Ledger fell for Rory without ever meeting her in person. He hasn't been interested in anyone forever so he's confused when he sees a woman from afar and is instantly attracted but the moment she speaks Gage knows that they are the same person. I loved how no matter what Rory did, Gage found everything about her sexy. Her voice conjured dirty fantasies and he just loved it when she rattled off football stats.
Rory was a perfect fit for football player Gage Ledger. She wasn't just sexy but also funny and incredibly smart. They completed each other. She wasn't afraid to tease him and he wasn't afraid to talk about their future together.
All in this was a great read. I am glad I decided to request this ARC and these two characters fit so well together! I know insta love isn't for everyone but if you enjoy them and sports romance I'd suggest giving this one a try. It might be part of the series but every book in this series is a standalone....more

Jonathan has never had the easiest time to show his Rise of a Queen is the second book in Kingdom Duet. It follows Jonathan and Aurora after book one.
Jonathan has never had the easiest time to show his feelings, even to his family but Aurora makes him want to try. I just adored the scene where he didn't know what to say to his son and nephew but then complimented their food because of a look she gave him.
Jonathan was even more possessive than in the previous book. He didn't like it when Aurora smiled or other people and he especially didn't like it when Ethan even looked at her. I just adore possessive male characters and he just made me want to swoon, like when he said he'll bring chaos to the world to protect her. No one touched what was his and lives. Jonathan would flip the world upside down just to find her and many times he might seem stalkerish but he was always there just when she needed him.
Aurora felt bad at being with her sister's ex husband but she couldn't stop herself from falling for him. She'd always choose him and she kept encouraging him to be more with his family and even become friends with Ethan again. For as long as Aurora remembers, she only had herself to rely on and no one protected her. Now she had Jonathan who would go to hell and back for her. He made her feel both vulnerable and powerful.
Layla is Aurora's family and Jonathan might get annoyed by her but he also let her do things, like threaten him and give him a nickname just because of how important she was to Aurora. He also appreciated how loyal she was to Aurora.
All in all this is my favorite Rina Kent book so far! I don't think I've ever enjoyed a sequel in a duet as much as I enjoyed this book. I loved how protective and possessive Jonathan was. I loved the mystery. I loved the side characters. I think the only downside in the whole book was that I wish Aurora trusted Jonathan more. I really hope we get to see Aurora and Aiden make their relationship better in the epilogue book and just see Aurora be with the King family more. ...more

It's the beginning of Jonathan's (Aiden's father who we met in Royal Elite series) and his dead wife's younger half sister.
Aurora just wanted to save her company with her best friend. She lost everything eleven years ago and Jonathan King is part of the reason. She thought he was a god when she was just a kid and her sister married him but now she thinks he broke her sister beyond repair and she refused to let him do the same to her.
She had a plan to get Ethan's help to save her company but Jonathan doesn't only hate Ethan with passion but he decided that Aurora would be his. Jonathan loves to win and when he finally saw Aurora after all these years, he felt like she got away from him and he didn't like to lose.
Aurora felt like she was broken after what happened eleven years ago and you can't break what was already broken, so she doesn't need a long time to consider Jonathan's offer after he makes any other possibility impossible. She survived sixteen years with a monster, so she could survive Jonathan.
Jonathan is a cold character but you can't help but want to see how possessive he gets over someone he isn't supposed to care about. He didn't always go it by the right way but I liked how he showed he cared by not letting Aurora get away with hiding things and he knew a lot of things she hadn't told him.
Aurora looked almost identical to her sister but I was so relieved that Jonathan just saw her. He saw how different they were and wasn't trying to replace Alicia with Aurora. It did broke my heart a little bit when Aurora saw that he had kept Alicia's room as it was without trying to get rid of anything, making it seem like he still wasn't over her death when I think he just felt guilty for marrying Alicia only because of the debt and for not being able to save her.
All in all I enjoyed every moment with Aurora and Jonathan. I liked seeing some characters from Royal Elite series and I really liked Aurora's best friend. I just want to know more about Aurora's mother deal, like why did she want to keep her children apart? This was another one of those books that I finished only in a day....more

Gwen has loved her father's best friend ever since she was fifteen years old and Nate understood her emptiness the way no one ever had before or since then. She decided to kiss him when she turned eighteen. She couldn't regret it but it made him avoid her.
I still have no idea what to think about uncle Nate. I loved him in his nephew's books and he could be so great to Gwen with his possessiveness but his hot and cold attitude could've driven me crazy. I understood him trying to resist his best friend's daughter in the beginning but then he started sleeping with her and kept reminding her how it could just be about sex, like why would you ruin your friendship over just sex? Just no. I wanted to wake him up and start treating her right.
I loved Gwen's friends! I really hope we get to see more Jane and Chris, even have a book about either them. I kind of have a feeling that Jane will have a book with Knox.
All in all I liked how this book wasn't as dark as the usual books in the universe but I couldn't help but feel bad how Gwen felt like she was only an obligation to Nate since he was the worst at showing his feelings. I could relate to Gwen a lot with her being an overthinker and her ability to drive herself crazy with it....more

I really liked the sisterly bond Dahlia had with her sister. It's so refreshing to read about sisters who are actually good to each other and the other doesn't annoy me. It was also fun to see how they thought it was ironic how they fell for guys with the same overprotective streak as their father.
Fox is an age gap MC insta love romance. I liked it but I felt like it didn't different much from book one, so that's why I only rated it three stars. I also really liked that we had a character from Davenport's mafia book here!...more

Maverick is the first book for Iron Rogue MC series, spin off for Silver Saints MC. This book is about Molly Mackenzie (if you've read the other series, you might be familiar with her father, Mac) and Maverick Crawford. I love the other series but I was also happy to see the other MC in this world.
Maverick is insta-love MC book with a little action that tells a story about Maverick going to a birthday party and being obsessed with Molly after seeing her play with kids. He had a plan to just take it slow and see Moly but he couldn't get her out of his mind and he just wasn't patient enough.
I really enjoyed this book. Just like her mother, Molly was willing to be "kidnapped" but she's also like her father, knows defense and is sassy. Molly even wanted her sister to cover for her with their father. Maverick is a protective and possessive as you can expect from Fiona Davenport's heroes.
I liked that Maverick and Molly complete each other. She needed someone who was protective, fearless and someone who would fight for her instead of being afraid of her father. He needed someone who understood club business and was understanding when he had to leave.

Cassie is used to giving up on new hobbies but even though Hans didn't show any signs of being interested she never gave up on him. It didn't matter that she only saw him once. Cassie kept gifting him food (feeding people was her love language) and trying to see him. She had no idea Hans was actually obsessed with her but wanted to keep her safe from him and his enemies.
Hans was obsessed with Cassie since the moment he met his neighbor but he knew he wasn't good for her. She was nine years younger than him and he knew she'd be in danger because of his job. He found the things she gave him disgusting but he ate every single bite and hated the idea of anyone else eating anything she cooked. It all went according to the plan until he opened her mail that was accidentally delivered to him. Hans knew he should turn her away but not only didn't he want to but he didn't want to hurt her feelings.
Hans was obsessed with Cassie and so possessive that he didn't like other men even touching her hand or touching the notes she gave him. Cassie's also possessive of him. She hated the idea of other women looking at him or even thinking about the possible women he has slept with.
Hans is a slow burn romance but the minute they got together I could barely stop reading to sleep. They're so protective of each other and I can't tell you how much I loved that instead of being afraid of him, Cassie was turned on by his violent side.
