One thing I am sure of: I would have adored this book as a kid! I was always interested in Greek Mythology, read quite a lot about it starting from my early teens and a book combining child-protagonists & modern day adventure with clashes of Greek gods and other mythological creatures would have sent me into a book-frenzy.

Nevertheless, it was a fun and easy read with likeable & some very funny (and I am looking at you, Mr D., you reluctant, unenthusiastic, hilarious camp leader) characters and I am intrigued to go on reading the next book in the series.
