This novella reminded me of why I read Becky Wade. Since this book is short, I worried that there wouldn't be enough information to fill my romance-reading heart, but I had nothing to fear.
Ms. Wade had me emotionally involved from the opening letter. And I LOVED that this was done in letter style. Kind of reminded me of Dear. Mr. Knightley in that aspect. But the style, the words, the characters are all signature Becky Wade. You'll love them and then wait with abated breath for the first novel in the Bradford Sisters Romance series....more

A Covert Alliance was frills and lace and I absolutely ADORED it. It was nice to see the softer side of Kayden as she made her covert alliance (see what I did there?). Ms. Morrows was sure to keep the tension through the scenes considering the danger Kayden and Dvarius live in, but that just made me love this short read all the more. Pick it up and enjoy!

I loved finding out Ever wondered about the love story between the Queen and the late King? JC Morrows has answered your question in A Dangerous Love.
I loved finding out how the Queen met her husband, before she was Queen. Before she endeared herself to Kayden. This book was full of romance and mystery.
The only problem was it was too short. I could have cheerfully continued reading their story all the way to present day, but alas, I'll have to hope Ms. Morrows continues their story sometime in the future.

As a mothAn Informal Christmas is a heart tugging short read. This novella touches a subject, so many books gloss over or ignore: cancer in children. As a mother of a child who has had his fair share of hospital visits, this book made me tear up. But the way Ms. Gray shares the comfort of the Lord and how others can help you through the tough times was worth the tears. Of course, the happy ending helped as well. I will definitely read more books by Ms. Gray. ...more

Nicole, Nic to her friends, is hired as a babysitter for the Christmas holiday gathering of the Vang family. There, she runs into her ex-boyfriend who is the co-babysitter. I was really intrigued with the premise and I was happy when I learned the reason for the breakup. It's not your stereotypical one and I thought it added depth to the story (trying to be vague and not add any spoilers). I loved the holiday theme and it made me ready to celebrate the birth of Our Savior....more

A chance encounter introduces her to Anthony, the marquis of Raeborn, who is struggling to reenter polite society. I wondered if Lynette would deliver fast-paced writing in a short package. Thankfully, she did. The story follows Colton and Jillian as they rush to find Meg, who's been kidnapped. My emotions were engaged from the very beginning. Added bonus: seeing the rest of the crew from the series. It was like a family reunion, only add in suspense, mystery, and God and you have Retribution....more
