I never really thought I had a thing for Christmas romances. They’ve interested me in the past and they always hold the promise of being amazing, but I never really thought I had a thing for Christmas romances. They’ve interested me in the past and they always hold the promise of being amazing, but they never quite live up to the promise. All He Wants For Christmas not only held up but it surpassed everything I thought I was going to get!
Andi has been Ty’s assistant for a few years now. He’s branded himself well and is one of the “sexiest men alive” stars in Hollywood. Andi usually endures his over the top charm with an eye roll, but when an eleven year old shows up on his doorstep with claims she’s his child, she begins to see a different side of to the egomaniac. And she absolutely cannot fall for him. Her past dictates that’s not an option.

Everything comes easily to Ty. Without even having to ask, his life is organized and set out for him via his assistant, Andi. When his unknown daughter arrives he’s suddenly stumbling through insecurities. It soon becomes obvious there isn’t a quick fix to the issue. Andi is his only salvation at this point and he manipulates his way into her Christmas visit home. But soon he’s trying to worm himself into her heart and it’s the biggest challenge of his life.
”Because while he’d always been confident he could have any woman he wanted, Andi was the exception. She’d always been the exception. The one person who saw through all his acts.”
This was a sweet, heart-warming read that had me tearing up several times towards the end. The characters are all well-developed but I especially enjoyed watching Ty come into his true self. He’d been hiding behind his professional persona for so long, he wasn’t sure who he was anymore. Andi also has some evolving to do as she must let go of past hurts and insecurities.

This is a relatively fast read with very little steam – closed door – and internal angst rather than drama caused by outside forces. I felt Ty’s daughter Jade often was a placeholder rather than the integral part of the story she could have been, but this book is dealing with a lot of stuff and I’m sure the length wouldn’t allow for more from her character. However, what was there was heart wrenching at times and absolutely heart melting good at others.
As cheesy as “Christmas Miracles” can be, this one was spot on perfect! It hit a sensitive place in my heart and I connected with every part of the miracle…thus the teary eyes. I loved it and the warm epilogue pushed this book into an even better read.

I knew from the title and the recent trademark situation what this author was doing, but I really wasn’t sure what the story was going to be like. I couldn’t have been more thrilled at just how GOOD it was!
An incident in Luke’s life when he was young has haunted him throughout the years but with the help of his assistant, Sabrina, he has managed it to some small degree. When he is called home due to a family emergency he finds himself making an outlandish proclamation. What follows results in a truly romantic story as he finds himself falling in love with his best friend.
Sabrina has been in love with Luke for years but she’s not a pushover when it comes to him. And yet, when he needs her to stand by him after he makes a crazy statement to his mother, she never really hesitates. She’s living her dreams knowing in the end she’ll have to let them go. But for now, she’s allowing herself to be consumed by Luke and what they have…albeit temporarily.
I’ll admit there’s an issue with Luke at the very beginning that I was not a fan of. It’s also one of those things that makes it hard for me to like friends-to-lovers and boss-employee-to lovers tropes. However, I’m a relatively lenient reader so I chose to push that issue aside and just enjoy the rest of this story. As a result, I ended up really enjoying this couple as they work together, trust each other, and share their secrets. Their dynamic was perfection and is the stuff you know exists in real life.
This is a lengthier book than I thought it would be but I never once skimmed. It does not repeat itself nor does it get bogged down with a lot of self-introspection. The steam is absolutely scorching and the secondary characters’ main goal was to help the story along rather than steal the limelight or lay foundation for future books.
The angst is light up until the last portion when Luke and Sabrina have a major conflict and then it is elevated but not what I would call gut clinching. I especially enjoyed how hard Luke had to work to win his woman – romance readers who love groveling will appreciate this.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t have an epilogue which I felt it needed and I desperately wanted. I may pout about that fact for a while because I wanted one so badly. Nevertheless, if you enjoy this trope I highly recommend this one.

I absolutely LOVED this quick, spicy, cute as heck novella!!! Marion was so dramatic and quirky. I loved everything about her. She was completely adorable. Mack has been her “not really friend” land lord and diner operator that feeds her for two years. They have a snarky little relationship that borders on the edge of intense attraction that Marion has been trying to avoid. Now, her day just got derailed and Mack is there to help steer it in his direction. There were so many laugh out loud moments that anyone around would’ve thought I’d lost my mind. This is my first by this author and holy heck…I definitely need more!
I loved Raine! She was so quirky and cute and when she was in a pickle she reacted in the most delightful ways. She’s been in love with a boy from school all her life but he doesn’t even know her name. When the handsome actor Dirk Adams steps in to play the pretend boyfriend, all kinds of chaos ensues.
Raine’s family was a riot and I loved how the jumped Dirk. There were so many fun scenes here but I don’t want to spoil them for you. You definitely need to read this one to enjoy all the humor that I’m learning is a true talent of this author.

Victoria is nervous about her first big acting part but more so when she meets Nathan Reed, one of Hollywood’s heartthrobs. She’s not looking for romance or love and certainly not a relationship. Been there done that and has the broken heart to prove it.
It doesn’t take Nathan long to realize that Victoria is the woman he wants for all time. But she’s a bit skittish and he’s trying to slow himself down and not doing a very good job of it. He has every intention of making her his own and he’s not hiding that fact from the paparazzi. The sooner she realizes he’s in this all the way, the sooner they can move forward in their relationship.
I adored Nate and Victoria! Victoria had such a snarky little attitude encased in sweetness and a dry wit that ensnared Nate from the beginning. Nate wasn’t looking for his ever after but once he met her it didn’t take him long to grab hold and not let go. He was fiercely protective, strongly possessive, a bit jealous at times and foremost completely devoted to Tori and her welfare.
This is a fast paced story with a bit of a mystery, a few surprises and plenty of steam. As in my Kindle melted, steam. The angst level is on the low side but with just enough to drive the story. And the epilogue is so very satisfying! So yep, I loved every single thing about this story and can’t wait to see what Ms. Curtis will provide us with next.

I swear my heart is about to burst from my chest! This book! This amazing, incredible, beautiful, heart wrenching book!!!
Six months ago Willow changed. Gone was the happy, flamboyant teenager that giggled with her friends and talked about boys. In her place is a Willow that struggles to get through the day and barely survives the night.
Her parent’s decision to move from Manhattan to Harmony only adds to her inner turmoil and drives the wedge of separation further between them all.
Isaac’s burdens are more than any nineteen year old should ever have to endure. He’s stumbling through life just waiting for the day when he can get away from Harmony and all that it represents. In the meantime he’s found solace in the community theater where he’s able to give voice to his story.
Never could the meeting of two such damaged souls have been more predestined than Willow and Isaac. They each recognize the pain and suffering in the other as well as the potential for healing. But to reach for that would mean opening themselves up to all the bitter ugliness that resides in their souls.
My heart hurt so much for both of these characters. Their pain became my pain and I felt their struggle and burden as though it was my own. I felt the emotions of their onstage characters as it mirrored their own relationship. Willow and Isaac come alive as Hamlet and Ophelia and I was literally sobbing during their opening night performance.
In Harmony has so many layers built within it. Each step, each decision, each action these characters take unobtrusively adds another dimension to the story. I was lost to everything except their conflict, their tentative joy, their love and their anguish.
The epilogue was perfect and I could not have asked for a better ending for this book. After taking me through a swampland of emotions I needed to know Willow and Isaac were not only okay now but would be okay years from now.
This story definitely deals with some extremely heavy topics and I felt that the author did an exceptional job of shining the light on them. The characters dealt with them in what I would expect to be a realistic manner.
I absolutely loved In Harmony and would instantly recommend it to anyone who enjoys an emotion filled romance.
While I received an advanced reader copy from the author and this is my honest and willing review, I also have purchased my own copy.

He did her the favor of removing her virginity and then stuck by the rules she had laid out afterwards. Now, ten years later, he’s cashing in the favor. He needs to repair his reputation as a playboy A-list actor and the only woman he wants to pretend to be his fiancée is Willow. It’s always been Willow. She’s his real thing and this story showcases how this couple moves from a friendship into a romantic relationship.
I loved Willow and Zane! As individuals they were both sincere and likable. As a couple they were intense, engaging and so hot I’m sure my Kindle was scorched. This story has a crew of secondary characters that will be getting their own stories and there’s not one of them I’m not anxious to read about.
I’m relatively new to the Melissa Foster bandwagon, but OMG…I’m so glad I was able to hop on!
