I still feel the line between the metaphors and the literal was a bit blurred. Honestly, I’d read it again. One thing I think I’d definitely recommend is reading the book instead of listening to the audiobook (the reader was good I just much preferred reading it).
Well. Still at Omega point. Still hating Warner. But now Juliettes room is starting to look like the cage she feels trapped in. And now, Kenji wants results. Castle wants results. Oh how much can happen in the space of just over 400 pages.

I was kind of left speechless by this book. What a book. The plot twists, the plans, the turns and the unexpected. Neal Shusterman created a true masterpiece in this book. Just when you think you know what’s coming it changes and… I’m left wondering what to do. I reread scenes in my head and just think how? How can this be so amazing?
Scythe Lucifer is still out there. But he’s not the only concern of the scythedom. Behind the curtain there are schemes, not just of unsavouries and scythes. Even the thunderhead is using loopholes. But the thunderhead cannot intervene. And how this pains him. The betrayal of mankind is unbelievable. The thunderhead… cannot. Intervene. But mankind’s end may be inevitable.
If you haven't read this book then I honestly feel sorry for you. Ok maybe this isn’t some peoples cup of tea, but the skill gone into writing these twists and turns and plot twists are stunning. Sit down, put the headphones on and clear a few days. You won’t need anymore to finish this book....more

However, there were parts of this book (and all 3 books) I could’ve gone without. Wether it’s worth reading is very much a matter of opinion, and how much magic you will tolerate.
A girl raised by her parents murderer. In the word of faerie things are different for Jude than they would’ve been in the mortal world, for better or worse is still under debate. With the new high kings coronation on the horizon, schemes are needing to be schemed and traitors must choose the exact time to strike. Really a mortal shouldn’t get caught up in this, but it’s hard when you are being played like a chess piece by more than just the cruel prince.
Maybe too much magic for me, and maybe for others. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good plot that might possibly have you hooked. Just make sure you want to be… ...more

There is always another chapter waiting to be written, and this is the next part of The Lunar Chronicles. As usual, Marissa Meyer doesn’t disappoint! Only reason I didn’t give this book full marks is the fact there was a pretty violent (graphic) scene in the book that I had to skip over-but I thought the plot was really good :D loved the way she created the wolf in this, it was really clever.
Cinder has escaped. She now has also helped another prisoner escape, which was not part of her plan, but he does have a ship so it’s not too bad. Instead of doing what she was told she’s going to France to try and find more of her story. I mean, she was a mechanic one minute and heir to the lunar throne the next, you can’t blame her. But the grandma that has the answers was kidnapped, and her grandaughter in the little red hoodie is looking for her, the question is will the wolves find them all?
Get ready for an adventure. Just beware of the forest, and the grandma who’s teeth are slightly too big....more

I’d say it’s more gory that the first and second, but that’s just my opinion. I did, however, think it was a very good book. Suzanne, you wrote Katniss so well :D, she’s written perfectly, and when she’s *ahem* ‘mentally disoriented’ it’s written brilliantly :) With brilliant plot twists and a wish for this war to finally end, for the sectors to live in peace, for this lack of justice to be finally over, this makes a brilliant conclusion to the series (don’t count on the conclusion but though…)
Peeta. Peeta. Peeta Peeta. I’m the mockingjay. I have been asked to be the mockingjay. How am I supposed to do that when I have a wristband saying I’m mentally disoriented? How can I make the rebellion stay on fire. Peeta, PEETA is the one good with words. Peeta is the one who should be here. But Katniss Everdeen is the girl on fire, and maybe a flame is exactly what rebellion needs.
Mutts, mockingjays, missions and lies. All twisted in one conclusion to the series almost everyone has heard of. Say goodbye to the hunger games. Because when this burns, you burn with it....more
