You know what threw it off for me a little? Him calling her "sweetheart." It's weird, I know, but it didn't feel like the right term of endearment. Sometimes terms of endearments just aren't necessary, ya know?

I totally forgot when I started reading this last night that it was a novella. I don't love quick romance (I like the story to be a slow burn), but this was still pretty cute read. Not sure I love how it ends, but we don't always get to choose how the HEA plays out. Anyhoo.

Maybe I'm the scrooge here, but holiday themes just aren't my favorite. But I could tell from the first book that we were leading into a grumpy/sunshine romance with these two. Hunar has played a pretty big role in the series, so I'm happy he's getting some love. And his spats are precious. Now, the next book is going to be wild. I had ZERO expectations for us to be led in that direction, but I'm here for it. Bring on some Sizzle....more
