I liked the slow burn and cute roommates. Then I started to hate Mary. She was really annoying and I felt like she wanted a pity party without telling anyone whats wrong with her. The whole holding something over a 16yr olds head for 7 years, miscommunication, and unwilling to talk to the one person who hurt you was so annoying.
I kinda felt like she wanted everyone to throw her a pity party. If she could change so much why don't she think he can to? Made me so mad about the drama with her boss. I feel like she just used that as an excuse to break up. ...more

I knew it would be a small misunderstanding but she's so hurt that he didn't get a hand written letter in a college football house mailbox. Do you really think college men check their mailbox? Where is the common sense that he might've not gotten your letter? I don't think you deserve to be that hurt.
A good amount of this book was a big misunderstanding with no communication. You guys are in your 30s and don't talk about your issues or why? She didn't even want to tell him what happened 15 years ago? You guys spent one night together and your so hurt 15 years later.

A warm hole and a warm meal.
Tiernan is dumb af for choosing who she did. She has some serious issues. All of them do. She just liked their attention because shes getting some for the first time in her life. He almost rapes you, literally hits you, throws away your birth control so you can get pregnant, constantly calling her a whore, and you literally have no connection. You've never had a conversation or shared anything worth sharing for a romantic relationship. I don't understand. Out of all of them she chooses the worst one. Soo annoyed. Rika has no self respect no matter what Michael does. He and his friends almost gangr*pr you and you do nothing about it? You spread your legs the next day? He doesn't even apologize right. But it's all ok because you've always loved him.
