The story and vibe I was getting was really similar to her past books with some of ACOTAR and House of Earth and Blood mixed in. The characters and plot were all over the place.
She has powers but we barely get to see her use them after the first 20%. And then they suddenly come back in the last little bit? I feel like the plot was lost in the smut. I love that smut was included. But like...we got no answers. We barely went anywhere with learning more information.
