Third book in this series and the first book that I have read from this author. Great read. Loved Owen and Rose. Great characters and story. Can’t wait to read more from this author.

This is the third book in this series, Rose, and yes you kind of do have to read previous books to know who is who because even though they have a small part in this book they all connect and you will get the dynamics..I liked all the previous couples in this series, Rose not so much, Owen yep I liked him, again Rose not so much..She wined too much for me, she should have been glad to get rid of her scum bag fiance and his cheating self. She did way better with Owen, and yes Owen got a little to alpha at that party and should not spread her business to everyone yet, Jason did push him and Owen was defending herself and yet Rose, withered..get some spine, finally she did at the end..Amanda lets go!

We met Rose briefly in the previous books, although this book can be read as a stand alone. This is Rose and Owen's story.
I had a rough time with this one honestly. I really liked Owen. He was a standout character in the book, as was his Dad. I loved watching him work on furniture and the work he puts into it.
Rose was another story however. She was a little hard to like, she came off as weak and a little too flaky for me. Her inner dialogue didn't do a thing to help her character along.
She meets Owen when she goes to the apartment she shared with her ex to retrieve her beloved bed that was her grandmothers and a few other belongings. Owen thinks he's hit the lottery when he answers an ad on Craig's list and bought the bed cheap from the ex. When Owen tests out the bed he falls asleep and is found by Rose when she shows up. Antics ensue and the bed breaks and Owen promises to fix it and return the bed to Rose. Owen is a little disheartened by losing the bed, he's trying really hard to keep his Dad's woodworking business afloat. Rose works for a company that makes out of the box furnishings. Her ex is the son of the owner. Despite the break up, Rose still works there in her little cube as a numbers cruncher, she dreams of doing more, but isn't sure.
Rose lacks a backbone especially at work. She's a little better with her attraction to Owen and the feeling is mutual. Owen has put all this time and effort into the business and not in the dating world and Rose is the first woman to attract his attention. He certainly doesn't lack in the heat department.
Those scenes are well described throughout the story. When he and Rose have a falling out, will anything save their relationship? Good question. Feel free to read and find out what happens with them.

Wrong Bed, Right Man by Rebecca Brooks a five-star read that you will want to curl up with. This has been a great story and who knew a bed could cause so much trouble. This is the third part of the Accidental Love series but it can be read as stand-alone as the other couples pop up but not to the point that you felt lost, I have read the previous two but don’t feel it would have been massive if I hadn’t, honestly if I hadn’t read them I would go back and read them as I enjoyed this one so much. It made me want to go and buy all new furniture and a really solid wooden bed. The only thing that annoyed me was how Rose behaved about her ex, but on the flip side I could get how she behaved about him and her job, as sometimes that’s all that stands between you and your history,

It’s been a while since I read the second book in the Accidental Love series but I remember really liking that one so when I got the opportunity to read and review this book, I couldn’t say no! Luckily for me, every book can be read as a standalone, so I had no problems at all. When I started Wrong Bed, Right Man, I couldn’t stop reading. It was so addictive!
Wrong Bed, Right Man tells the story of Rose and Owen, they’re kind of enemies since Rose works for a company that is destroying Owen’s business, but they can’t help falling for each other. I really liked both characters because they were perfect for each other and I loved reading about them.
I really like that this book isn’t just about the romance, but also about loving your job and fighting for your job. I really liked Wrong Bed, Right Man and I cannot wait to read more books by Rebecca Brooks!l

Owen came into the apartment to check out the furniture from a Craigslist ad. He could buy it if he liked it. Owen then saw a table, a bookshelf, and a beautiful bed. He wanted to test it out and ended up falling asleep on the bed. Owen had to make enough money to pay the bills also for his father’s medication. Rose put the key in the door it unlocked. She was a little surprised her cheating ex fiance Jason had not changed the lock. It seemed like some things should have changed to mark the fact that what had once been her home, her life, was no longer hers. She wished there was a sinkhole to swallow this apartment preferable with Jason and what her name was inside. But then she would lose all her belongings that were still there. Herbooks she hadn’t packed yet, the dresses hanging in the closet not to mention the best items: her grandmother's furniture she's inherited.Rose could live without the books, and dresses. She could even survive without her shoes, maybe. But she couldn’t give up her grandmother’s bed. It probably hadn’t occurred to him she would come back for her stuff. Rose went in to see her bed and a man was there sleeping. She woke up by clapping her hands and he jumped up fell back and the bed crashed to the floor. Rose asked who he wass and Owen told her his name and said he had come to buy the furniture on Craigslist and just bought it. He said he was pretty sure he broke the bed. Jason was the boss's son at Cube and so did Rose. Also Cube was putting out small business like the one Owen had. Owen was on the company- Cubes crush list Rose was on the team that wrote the ads to crush the small businesses. Rose was attracted to Owen. He didn’t have a body from a gym but from using it building, working, and lifting. She tried to tamp down the flutter from seeing him. Amanda was Rose's best friend who she had told what happened.
I enjoyed this book. It was a good romance but also brought in the difficulties small businesses face and the big company’s work to put them out of business. This also bought in work ethics and I really liked that also. I loved Rose and Owen together even if they were opposites. Rose needed more of a backbone most of this book. She needed to learn to stand up for herself and speak her mind. I loved Owen and his dad. I did get frustrated with Rose at times. I like the author had brought in a small business struggle to survive. I was glad Rose told Owen right away where she worked. I really enjoyed the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I recommend it.

Owen just about hit the jackpot when he found a craigslist ad selling beautiful wood furniture for cheap, it means a big profit after cleaning up and selling the furniture at his woodworking shop. He's given the key to the apartment and is told to take what he wants, but gets sidetracked by the craftsmanship on the bed then ends up falling asleep after trying it out.
Rose is sneaking back to the once shared apartment a couple weeks after she broke off her engagement. A woman can put up with a lot, but when she found her fiance Jason in bed with another woman it was over. She could live with a lot of the furniture she contributed to the apartment, but she had to get her grandmother's antique bed, even if she had no idea how she was going to fit it into her new smaller apartment.
I found the set up of the story more enjoyable than most of the novella's I've read. After Rose finds Owen in her bed and startles him awake, he breaks the bed. We learn more about Owen, that he owns a small woodworking store with his sick father and Rose's ex fiance is the head of an IKEA inspired furniture company called CUBE. Rose also just so happens to be on the advertising department and she's working on the ads meant to crush their small business competition.
The flirtation and the banter that begins is a little lackluster, but I felt that it was possibly due to the fact that Rose was more of a good girl and we later learn that Owen hasn't had too many dates after taking the lead at his family business.
As far as chemistry goes I could feel it, even if the interaction at times felt a little stunted, when they finally started to get closer you could tell these two characters really cared about each other.
That said the final conflict of the book was a bit meh. I still enjoyed reading it and I felt that the issues that they had were easily solved, it didn't feel like one character had to bend over backwards to make the other happy. I've found that some romance novel resolutions end up feeling a bit convoluted, but this fit the story and the characters perfectly.
It's a quick and steamy read, not overly graphic. A nice middle ground.

Wrong Bed, Right Man is a sweet contemporary romance with a few good twists and turns. Rose is doing her best to get on with life after years of conditioning to be the quiet good girl and never raise a fuss. However, after catching her fiance in the act of cheating she just wants to get through each day and get her furniture back. This leads to all sorts of adventures with Owen, who is trying to keep his business afloat and not take advantage of the innocent Rose. I really liked Owen, he is a guy with integrity and an intense work ethic but very little filter. I liked his father even more. Rose I liked to an extent, but was a little frustrated with her on occasion. I did not mind the prim and proper, but found her inability to stand up for herself to more bothersome to me than Owen's ability to ignore slights to her. She has a great, supportive group of friends but so little self esteem that it really took some of the fun out of the story for me. I did enjoy the resolution, and think parts of the story were brilliant, but was annoyed with Rose more often than not.

you wouldn't think that the wrong bed conceit could endure through a whole series, but it's seriously working for rebecca brooks. in wrong bed, right man we find rose campbell, who we've met in prior books in this series, picking up the pieces of her life after she caught her fiancé cheating on her. when she first meets owen crowley, he's meant to be moving her grandmother's bed and old furniture out of the apartment she shared with her ex. when he realizes what a jerk the guy is he tears up the check and agrees to help her out.
and then he manages to hit on her in a non-creepy way. this would only ever work in a romance novel, because in real life this could never happen. nor would she be working at her ex's ikea-like furniture business who has targeted ads on the small furniture businesses in the area. that seems like a terrible use of advertising money.
but those believability issues aside, the heart of this story is the connection between rose and owen, and it really, really works. these two just work in bed and out of it. the black moment scene, you feel so strongly for both these characters because they are both in the right and wrong. and when he finally comes through on his grand gesture, she comes through with one of her own. on her terms. and it really works for them as a couple.
i think this is my favorite so far in the series. but i'm intrigued about what might be next for amanda, who pines for her co-worker, but part of me hopes to see something a little different for her.

This book was damn glorious! I adore Rebecca's wrong bed series and this was a perfect addition to it. And it has one of the most adorable meet-cutes ever!
Owen is a furniture maker who sees a too-good-to-be-true ad on Craigslist getting rid of some furniture. When he arrives at the swanky apartment and sees a whole set of amazing antique furniture just waiting for him to restore and sell, he thinks he's hit the jackpot. His family's business is struggling, so he thinks this will help give them a boost. But poor guy Owen has been working himself to the bone and thinks this antique bed looks pretty damn comfy. So he lies down in it and the next thing he knows, he's snoozing.
And in walks Rose...who's the rightful owner of all this gorgeous old furniture. It turns out that her cheating ex-fiance put her stuff on sale before she could even claim it (serious a$$hole move UGH). So when she goes to their old apartment and sees a hot sleeping stranger in her bed, she's thrown for a loop. And OMG the way she wakes him up...adorable! It's such a cute meeting!
What follows is Owen and Rose working out this misunderstanding, then exchange numbers...then flirting hardcore via text. There's of course a major attraction between them and they want more than anything to give in to it...there's just one problem: Rose works for a giant furniture conglomerate that's been cutting into Owen's family business.
But of course that can't stop the attraction! What follows are some seriously steamy sexy times (good lord, the things Owen can do with leather restraints OMFG) and a sweet and heartfelt relationship. Highly recommend this book, it's so good!

February 21, 2020I expected to really like this book, but I had a lot of trouble shortly into it connecting with Rose and Owen. I liked the premise, Owen a carpenter looks at some antique furniture to purchase. He learns the furniture belongs to Rose, who’s the ex of the person selling the furniture. Her ex is trying to sell the furniture out from under her, knowing how important it is for Rose. Both Rose and her arrogant ex, Jason, work at Cube. Rose is a personal assistant while Jason is the son of one of the Cube owners. The relationship ended when Rose caught her ex having sex with another woman on her bed!
Owen is doing everything he can to keep his father’s business solvent. People are very willing to go to box store furniture in our throw-away society. He helps Rose, and they have an immediate spark. When their spark leads to sex with very little knowledge of each other, it felt really fast to me. Rose is supposedly a “nice” girl, but now she’s having sex quickly. This didn’t really compute for me. I skipped forward a bit, and found the two started to learn more about each other, but I also found Rose was a mat! She wouldn’t stand up for herself and she put up with nasty comments at work. I felt she needed to mature quickly for me to be willing to give her more of a chance. Opposites attract is always fun in a romance novel. When it comes to Rose and Owen, they may start out seeming to be complete opposites, but as the story progresses, it becomes clear that they actually have far more in common than it first appears.
Rose has recently broken up with her fiance, who she walked in on the throws of passion with another woman. She still works for his father's company and sees him daily. When she goes to collect her furniture from their flat, she finds another man asleep in her bed. Although he's really not at all the type of man that she normally goes for, she can't help but be attracted to him.
Rose's job is in direct competition with Owen's. I enjoyed reading about how they tried to find a way through their differences without actually having to give up their jobs. I don't really enjoy books where someone has to change. Although the characters do make changes, it's more to do with the way that they think and both Rose and Owen realise that they can't influence the way that someone else behaves and the way that they feel and think is down to them.
Overall this was a good read and satisfying romance.

Unfortunately, despite the excellent premise this one fell flat for me. I liked the meet cute, with Rose finding Owen, furniture maker/restorer, sleeping in her bed, the one her dastardly ex is trying to sell under her nose, but the conflict about him being a struggling, independent craftsman versus Rose being an office drone to an IKEA-esque company didn't really work for me. I hated that Owen embarrassed Rose at her work gala after she explicitly told him not to confront her cheating ex. Boundaries?
Both Rose and Owen had money struggles and I was always feeling worried about Rose. This is the third book of the Wrong Bed (Accidental Love series) of Rebecca Brooks. And they are just real nice and cosy. The books can be read as a standalone, and they all start with the same subject: someone is lying in the wrong bed and then they end up together. Just cute and funny.
In this one it is Owen, who ends up in Rose's bed. Rose wants to get her grandmother's beautiful bed from her cheating ex-finance's house. Only to find out that Owen has just bought her bed, but fell asleep on it. Owen really needs the bed, to fix it up and sell it at a profit to pay for the medical bills of his ill father. But when finding out that Rose is actually the owner of the bed, he decides to help her move the bed.
Although Rose and Owen are total opposites, there is some simmering attraction between the both of them. And while they banter about everything, they can't help but end up on the same bed time and time again. But Rose works for the company of her ex and he is hell bend on putting Owen out of business...

I give this book 3,5 stars.
I liked this book but had a little trouble connecting to the characters in the beginning. Owen was talking and thinking a lot about sex around Rose and Rose thought Owen was sexy but she was a good girl and would never be with a guy who wore boots, jeans and t-shirts and had facial hair.
I know it was a story about them overcoming their differences and their insecurities but the beginning was a little to much for me.
The way they met was pretty funny though and I really liked their chemistry later on but also their struggle with their competing jobs (he owns his own business making furniture from scratch and she works as an advertising assistant at a big furniture firm/business). I really think that their conflict at the end has merit because it makes them realize how to be together even though they are so different.
His groveling was great and her realization at the end was amazing too.
They really fit together in spite of their differences and you can’t help falling for them on the roof of Owens business.

What a great addition to this series.
I really liked the character of Owen. He is a hard worker, amazing son and an all around good guy. He is doing everything he can to keep his family business running while caring for his father.
Rose is a woman who had a plan and then comes home from work one day and everything changes. Now she just wants her stuff back. I have to say, I LOVED Owen and Rose's first meeting. When I read it, It felt like I was in the room with them. Rose was in a tough spot, she was starting to really like Owen who happened to also be a competitor.
There is one scene that really stuck out to me. Rose took Owen to an important party. There her ex goads Owen into an argument. Rose overhears the conversation and gets angry. While I can understand why she is angry, the part that I couldn't get was how she couldn't see all Owen was doing was defending her. It might not have been the right place or time, but to have someone stand up for another is a powerful thing.

Rose moved out and ended things after finding out her fiancé was cheating on her. Now she’s going back to the apartment they used to share to get her stuff - especially her bed that she had inherited from her grandmother. Only when she gets there she’s surprised to find a hot guy sleeping in her bed.
Owen is a furniture maker who also restores and sells pieces he finds on Craigslist. When he saw the ad Rose’s ex placed - he jumped at the chance to buy the incredible bed. And when he laid down for a second just to test it out and rested his eyes for just a second, he didn’t expect to fall asleep and wake to an angry woman.
Super cute setup right? I really enjoyed the romance between Owen and Rose. However the side story about their jobs really didn’t work for me and a major conflict at a work event didn’t feel true to the characters for me. I appreciated the way they talked things through in the end.

This was my first book by this author, but it definitely won’t be my last. I didn’t realize that it’s the third in a series, but that didn’t hinder my ability to know the characters or what was going on with them.
Rose is trying to put her life back together in a new and improved way, but the guy currently napping in HER bed (albeit in her ex’s space) is determined to help her do more than just patch it back together. Oh, no. Owen is going to work to make Rose HIS, especially once he realizes just how right she feels in his arms.
Rose and Owen hit a few bumps along the way, but one big bump almost ends them. So Owen’s a tad brash and Rose is a lot embarrassed, but they manage to overcome their hurts and find their HEA. And now I’m interested to see what else this author has to offer.

I think that I am just getting too old for these quick hookup books and interest in bondage.. When Owen and Rose meet, she knew that he would be considered "the enemy" when she worked for a furniture megastore and he was a wood worker that built quality pieces. He was one of the people that she was working to put out of business!
Not sure what she was thinking when she invited Owen to the Gala, that was just a disaster waiting to happen and it did.
All that said, after they started seeing each other, you could tell they were made for each other and I did like that they were able to work through all their differences and reconcile in the end and get their HEA.

A quick (under 200pgs), very entertaining read. The writing and characters had me quickly engrossed & I kept turning pages to way past bedtime.
The blurb is accurate & outlines the story well. Rose is sweet and rather proper and heck but there’s a lot of rather risqué conversation between her & Owen. The double entendres were humorous (totally unintended on Rose’s part) as was poor Rose’s frequent blushing – that had Owen totally charmed.
Not only is Owen funny and kind and forthright, he’s also a man of integrity, so totally opposite from Rose’s scumbag ex. The relationship between Owen and Rose felt natural and not in the least rushed – great writing by the author.

I liked Rose and Owen, but I honestly didn’t love them. While I enjoy a good opposites attract story, I felt that Rose’s transition from prim “good girl” was rushed to have her keep up with the more worldly Owen. I enjoy a good double entendre as much as the next girl, but Rose made it awkward and not as funny as it might have been.
I’ve read and enjoyed other books by the author, but this one was not a favorite. Writing, plot and the unique meet-cute all won high points with me, but the main characters, especially Rose, just couldn’t hold my interest enough to be memorable.

Another winner! I loved Rose and Owen's story. It began with Owen sleeping in Rose's bed, then grew from there. I loved the way they interacted and how even with their flaws, that they found a way to be together. Also, I loved the nod to the past and quality hand made furniture.
If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. While this is part of a series, this is a stand alone book, however, it's so good that you really owe to yourself to read them all. The author is on my must read authors' list.

Wrong Bed, Right Man by Rebecca Brooks is book Three in the Accidental Love Series. This is the story of Owen Crowley and Rose Campbell. I did fell this could be a standalone book but there are previous characters that come back in this book. Rose just broke up with her cheating fiancé but now she wants to get her furniture back that means a lot to her. This leads her to meet Owen who is her complete opposite. But the sparks fly and they can't seem to ignore their growing feelings. This was a cute romance story.

An entertaining read that starts with a lot of attraction and innuendo, but the relationship grows into a lot more.
I found myself liking most the moments when Rose and Owen supported and encouraged each other. Even though they worked for competing companies, it was easy to see their connection and how good they were for each other. The banter was fun and there were some great moments between them that made me laugh.
