After Luke was mesmerised by a captivating singer in the bar last night, he meets her again at a boxing gym.

I really liked both Andi and Luke, Andi a little bit more, she was the kind of female I love. She's all tatted up, fiesty, cocky, strong, protective. Luke is an alpha, but kind of phony cockiness, he's also alone and a little lost.

This book uses the characters pasts to make the story. Luke has been virtually abandoned by his family for choosing boxing as a career. Andi has been from one foster home to another before making family with Mac (owns the gym) and Shane, who serve as a father and a brother figure.

I liked that this started out as friendship for the two main characters. I can't say too much about it, but the story has ups and downs for the two of them, also some suspense and steam. Very good read.

I have the worst book hangover today after reading this book.
Crazy Maybe was crazy good. It dragged me though the ringer with my emotions.
First of all, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I was completely involved in this book.
It touches on some serious issues and goes places that I'm not sure I'd personally be brave enough to go as a writer.
From delicate topics like abuse and child molestation to the different set of rules and the lengths some people will go to to keep their political careers intact.
Andi is a fighter. She's tough, yet beautiful on the exterior, but has some deep rooted insecurities that all women will be able to relate to.
Luke is so sexy, you'll want to jump into the book and take him for a test run, yet there are times when punching him in the face is also a very viable option.
What grabbed me the most with this book is that it was real. Real issues were covered, real insecurities were brought to light, and real life romance was in your face.
Real life is not flowers and daisies. It's raw and painful at times and there are people who deal with things that are unimaginable and horrific and no one should ever have to endure, yet they do. They overcome, they survive, and they are stronger for it.
I loved this book. I was trying to speed up my brain up to get through it faster because I just had to know how it ended.
Supporting characters were phenomenal. Shane, Brandon, and even Luke's parents are all very real and relatable characters.
I will say, the end shocked me. I was praying and hoping and my stomach was clenching throughout the book, but... wow... the end threw me for another loop. But, not in a bad way.
Solid 5 stars!

Hands down fantastic! I literally did not put it down at all until I finished it. Each time I turned a page, I would learn something more about Andi - supremely talented, sexy, smart, strong woman. Then Luke, right from the beginning you knew what he wanted and how he was going to get it. At least that is what I thought until half way through the book. Yes, the story has several shockers through out. I can tell you I stopped many times to reread the shockers. Someone was adopted, someone is ridiculously wealthy, someone is extremely talented, someone is a closet lawyer, someone is in danger, and someone is madly in love and is running from it!

A D Justice was able to draw every emotion from me throughout the story! That is the work of a fantastic author! Just as a quick fact...I finished this book and literally went and bought her other book Wicked Games. I could not wait to read more of the author's work!

This is getting my distinguished 1 star and DNF rating.

DNF at 25%

I mentioned I had issues with this book after the first 2 chapters in my updates. Those concerns did not get much better. The overlap was killing me.

However what made me stop this book is it's lack of ability to connect me to the characters and the scenes. I didn't feel like I was there, with Andi and Luke. I felt like I was uninvited guest who was being given a bland run down of what was going on.

At one point there's a party. But instead of us experiencing that party (in that way that only readers understand) I felt like I was getting the ESPN play by play. There was hardly any interaction being provided for us.

I will say- what little actual character interactions we got up to that point were good and they definitely helped draw me in more. But left me feeling like a starving child in a third world country...just waiting for someone to come by and throw me a bone.

I didn't pick up on any major editing issues or grammar problems. It's just lacked...personality.

Crazy Maybe completely captivated me from the first page to the last. Andi & Luke are both good souls with damaged hearts. Their attraction is immediate. Their willingness to let the other in, is not. Crazy Maybe had all the ingredients for a compelling, pull at your heart-strings, true love story. I want more of these characters. Their alternating POV's was a special treat. To get inside of Luke's head, to know what he is feeling, what he is thinking, completed the book. I can't wait to read more from A.D. Justice.

A.D. Justice did a great job of bringing the characters to life in the story. I enjoyed how Ms. Justice made the characters have natural character flaws. If you haven't read Crazy Maybe yet, you should!

Review:

In my opinion this book is 4 stars. It is beautifully written. Personally I love when authors tell a story from both points of view. The characters are funny, romantic, passionate, and serious and I fell in love with this love story. It has many twist and and turns but from the first page you will be sunken in. It keeps you interested all the way through. The book is a little longer than I tend to read but I never noticed until the end.
Andi and Luke attraction in the beginning was to die for.
“ We don’t know each other, but as girly as this sounds, it also feels we do know each other.” – Luke
“ Right now, I’m pretty sure I have ADD because I can’t keep my mind where it supposed to be. – Andi
I also enjoyed on how much both characters and side characters where not perfect. They all had something going on and that’s how truly life is.
The family side was totally a good touch seeing grandparents, uncle, cousins involved with Luke and welcoming Andi when she has the complete opposite.
Brandon (Luke brother) was one of my favorite he told the truth and never back down he will make you laugh
The passion, jealousy, and those love scenes whoa I love love love
‘’ Before I can blink, I’m spun around and up against the door. Luke lifts me and my legs instinctively wrap around his waist. He leans in and greedily takes my mouth to his. The kiss is furious and feverish, I like neither of us can get enough.”
I really just love this story and will be reading A.D. Justice in the near future

I give the book 4 out 5 stars

Wow, it's just wow. First I fell in love with the cover then the blurb and I wanted to read it so badly.

It was nothing and everything what I've expected! I LOVED IT SO MUCH!
The story has a depth, and I really like those emotional writings.
The author does a really great job, and she deals with some hard/tough issues... So just wow.

Andi is a strong heroine with an awful past, visible scars but so strong. I loved her character. She lost her parents when she was six and got into foster-care. The things she went through lead her to Mack who took care of her as his own sister.

Andi Stone is a strong, smart and independent woman, thanks to the help of a famous boxing trainer, Mack, and his protégé, Shane, who have respectively been like a father and brother to her.

She likes music and she is a great singer, that's how they first met with Luke in a bar... then at the boxing club at Mack.

Luke Woods, the family black sheep and street-brawler, is determined to be a successful professional boxer despite his family’s protests. He needs Andi’s help to get there.

I love their relationship, but sometimes I was so mad at Luke. Duh, I thought it must be Brandon rather :)

Andi and Luke they both had their issues, her past-and his relationship betrayal, so it was not easy to admit their feelings to each other.

The whole time there was a knot in my throat, I cried and smiled at the same time. It's hard to put down. So many things happened, I was astonished sometimes but in a good way.

“Some say it should come easy if it's real love but that's just not true. Love is never easy - love hurts sometimes. It causes insecurities and jealousies. Relationships take work - love takes work. And happiness requires forgiving others. I forgive you. ”

WOW!

I really didn't expect this. I didn't think this was going to be a book that got my heart racing at times. There was actually quite a lot of drama and suspense- but in a good way. I really wanted to know the outcome of everything. I honestly underestimated this book, I didn't think there would be so much detail on everything and I never expected to get a full background on everything that went on.

Honestly, this book didn't just cover the basics, it went further and gave you so much more than just the story at a glance. We got a complete before and after, we got to see what happened after everything went on and not just in an epilogue. That's something that hardly ever happens, you usually just get a brief summary in what went on after the truth was told and everything was resolved, but not in this book! Oh no, we got how everyone was impacted and what happened to "the bastard" which was quite fitting.

The only thing I didn't like was that sometimes the language felt a bit unnatural, the way things were said and some scenarios didn't feel right at times. It's like when someone apologizes and it sounds like it was rehearsed over and over so you know it sounds fake? Well that's how some of the dialogue felt in this book. Also this book was a TOTAL cheese fest in some places, this ties in with it feeling unnatural, some things were so cheesy I couldn't stand it. I'm not a lover of cheese at all!

All in all this was quite a welcomed surprised, I almost didn't read it but I'm really glad I did.

Crazy Maybe is a great read! It features Andi, a young woman with demons from her childhood, but who also is strong and fiercely determined not to let her past come back to haunt her. She meets Luke, a powerful street fighter wanting to train to be a professional boxer, who instantly falls for her. Sparks fly between them and they become inseparable until secrets surface and threaten to ruin the present she’s worked so hard to maintain. The story gives you both side: Andi’s and Luke’s in alternating POV’s, giving you a better understanding of why Luke does some of the things he does and exposing some of his own secrets, as well. A.D. Justice did a superb job of painting a scarred Andi in such a light that you refuse to feel sorry for her, but instead, you want to cheer her on and hope she slays those dragons for good. For me, Andi was a much more formidable fighter than Luke ever was. I can’t wait to read more from A.D!

Crazy Maybe is the first novel I have read with this author and I was so impressed with her writing style and character development. I loved Andi, a strong, female lead. While she had secrets and her own traumatic past, she was not portrayed as the broken female who needed to be fixed. She meets Luke, a street fighter who has issues of his own, but the sparks fly when they come together. Both of them have trust issues that they have to work through, as well as secrets that will come out threatening their relationship. I love the alternating POVs – I always like knowing what is going on in the heads of the main characters. The secondary characters add a lot to the story and were well written as well. Overall, a great story!

Crazy Maybe by A. D. Justice. This is the story of Luke and Andi. It is written in the first person, which is a little bit different for me, but I liked it. It is easy to follow. The characters and story are well developed. Though, at times I did want to bang Luke up side the head and ask him what he was thinking? It is a terrific love story with a bit of suspense thrown in. Pick up a copy, you will not be disappointed.

Sebastian is really being a pain today! I don’t know why he still insists on lecturing me like I’m a child. As a result, I’m feeling a bit rebellious and decided to pull out a book with a fighter in it. I pulled out Crazy Maybe by A. D. Justice and let me tell you… WOW! This book was not what I was expecting at all! I thought it would be more along the lines of Real or Extreme Love and I couldn’t have been more wrong. Andi works at the gym, Tough Enough, with her pseudo father and the owner of the gym, Mack, helping train boxers to strengthen their technique and look for weaknesses. Luke is a boxer who is trying to make it into the professional circuit and he only wants the best trainer, and that’s Mack. When Luke walks into Tough Enough to meet Mack he’s instantly drawn to Andi and mistakes her for an easy conquest who is just looking to hook up with a fighter. Luke quickly learns that Andi is not the type of girl you mess with if you want to keep your man parts intact. Andi has issues from her childhood after having her parents die when she was 6 and being bounced around between foster homes. She has issues letting people in. Luke is very mistrustful of people, women especially, after a bad experience that left his pride hurt more than his heart. When Andi’s past comes back to haunt her will Luke stand by her side or will he turn his back on her for not being upfront from the beginning? I can’t tell you how much I loved this story. The first couple of chapters are sweet and I wasn’t really sure where she was going with the story. I was concerned that it would fizzle out… but them BAM… a curve ball hits you square in the face!!!! Her characters from the start of the book are so easy to fall in love with. Lucas has serious trust issues but he’s so passionate and confused about his feelings for Andi that you find it precious because you can see how scared he is of what he feels. Andi is just amazing, her character is so strong but she has the biggest heart of anyone that it makes me want to be just like her. All of her secondary characters are very much a part of their story and you find yourself loving each of them for their individual personalities and the qualities they bring out in the main characters. My only problem with the story was editing. There were a few words that should have been something else, for example if the author meant “if” the word “it” was there instead. It’s possible that it was just spell check autocorrecting and the author not catching it, but it did take away from the story a little bit because I would have to try to figure out if that’s what the author actually meant or not, because it wouldn’t make sense. Other than a few editing issues, I absolutely loved this story and will recommend it to everyone in the Kingdom

I can't even begin to describe my feelings for this book. This book pulled me in from the beginning and it just kept getting better and better. You get both alternating POV's and it makes you feel connected with the characters throughout the whole story.

You have Andi who is a sexy, smart, talented, strong-willed and a totally vixen. She has blonde hair with pink streaks and has a full sleeve tattoo. She grew up in foster care with the loss of her parents at an early age. She has a dark past in result and is determined not to let it haunt her. She is a straight up, take no crap, put you in your place kind of woman. She helps out at the gym where Mack, the guy who took her under his wing, owns.

You also have Luke who is a street fighter who wants to go pro. He's the black sheep in his family and they aren't supportive of his career choice but they still associate. He has issues that's he's hiding as well. He is drop dead gorgeous, cocky, tatted bad boy who doesn't do relationships. I know that you're probably thinking "oh, I read that kind of thing all the time." Right? Well, let me tell you, I'm pretty sure you haven't. This story isn't just your typical romance. You get a mix of romance, angst, mystery, and suspense all in one. How awesome is that? Oh, and you might want to grab some tissues too.

When Andi and Luke meet at the gym, you as a reader will feel the sparks between them. It's instant attraction even I had to stop and fan myself. Although that spark is there, they just start out with the innocent flirting. They become friends and hang out because Luke has stated that he doesn't do the dating thing and Andi doesn't want to get her heart broken so they don't take that next step at first.

When they finally do take that step which is around 30% into the book it will leave you breathless. It's like they're in this bubble and it finally exploded. They admit they have real feelings for each other and they want to take it on at full force. He takes her to meet his family and they fall in love with her and makes her feel like part of the family.

You become so involve in this book and with the characters that you don't even see it coming. The story takes such a turn of events, it will leave you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. Andi's past comes back to haunts her, will Luke be able to see who Andi really is or will his past and fears plague him? As much as I love Luke, some of his actions made me want slap him. There are so many twists and turns but it adds to the story like nothing I've ever seen.

I could say a lot more but I will just let you go buy the book so you could see what an amazing job A.D. Justice did with writing this story. You won't be disappointed.

Andi Morgan: strong, smart, independent. Trained by a famous boxing trainer, Mack, and his protege, Shane, Andi knows how to take care of herself. It wasn't always the case. Raised in foster care from the age of six, Andi has experienced her fair share of heartache.

Luke Woods: the family black sheep and street-brawler. Determined to be successful as a professional boxer, despite his family's protests. He needs Andi's help. He needs to overcome his family. He needs to learn from past mistakes, conquer his fears and internal demons.

Andi and Luke are a grenade, a thunderclap. Sometimes love isn’t enough. Sometimes it’s all you need.

Grab the Kleenex and make sure to keep a hold of your e-reader. Otherwise, it could go sailing across the world.

This book gutted me. It made me want to curl up in a ball. Emotions... feelings. I had feelings. Lots, big ones, all at once. It doesn't happen often, but it happened here.

I also identified with Andi, experiencing her laughter and pain. She is likable, the type who will give you the shirt off her back, the type who doesn't let life defeat her.

Luke, Mr. Oh-so-Troubled, mistakes Andi for a gym groupie, but feels the connection. He does the "I am an Asshat" act like a pro. He is a male lead that I loved and hated, but he kept me intrigued.

Despite this, you will cheer for this couple. Hoping they get their happy ever after. Hoping Luke shows he deserves Andi.

This book is a must read. If you like books hot and sweaty, passionate strong women who can tame bad boys, and a storyline that keeps you turning pages well into the night, one-click this today.

This is a stand alone, new adult romance with abuse. I would recommend this to readers who can appreciate a girl not giving up on life or love. I really enjoyed how Andi had finesse and was independent. The love she had for her adopted boxing family was beautiful. And the passion between Andi and Luke was very hot to say the least.

This story is about Andi Stone, a self sufficient, vigorous woman. She is strong partly due to her taking two boxers as her adopted family, Mack and Shane. But she did not always have a "normal" life. She lost her parents at the 6 years old, thrown into foster care until 16 when she was emancipated after a tragic incident got her locked into a psychiatric hospital.

The black sheep of the family, Luke Woods, has wanted to be a boxer his whole life, street fighting isn't enough anymore. Even though his family disagrees with his choice of careers he is determined to follow his dreams. He meets Andi and with her help he can accomplish his goal. Luke must first learn to let the past go, or it will ruin his future.

Andi and Luke hit it off instantly. But Andi is scared to share her past with Luke, when she inherits her family's business and wealth, her past comes back with a vengeance. She must learn to trust or she will lose the man she soon finds out she needs the most.

favorite passages:
"There's no doubt he is the one - because he's staring at me and I swear if he were Clark Kent, his eye lasers would already be burning through me right now."
"I tried to stop him before he embarrassed himself, but when he so arrogantly dismissed me while smiling at me. I decided to let him open his mouth and insert his foot. Until he choked on it."
"I won't go to some stranger's house. I'll be sure to take him home with me instead."
"Excuse me while I interrupt these thoughts to get back to the angry man in front of me."
"How sweet. Bless your heart." Which, in this case is Southern speak for you are a complete dumba** " (some might find the author's word choice offending.)
"And come tomorrow, I will move on. Because that's what i do. I have to be strong."
"I broke the very love of my life - I broke her"
"Procrastinators unite- tomorrow."
"For some, normal is over- rated. For others, normal is the greatest unknown."
"With that in mind, I've chosen to live like every day is my last, because one day, it will be." <3

Well this book was a great story from start to finish. The author has great characters in here that you will absolutely fall in love with. For starters Andi, this little vixen is a total badass. Blonde hair, full sleeve tattoo, pink streaks in her hair and got a rocking body. She works at a boxing center with Mack, the guy that took her under his wing to help her learn to protect herself. She feels eyes boring into her and see’s Luke, a well built guy that screams sex God, staring at her. Well being the only female in the boxing center one might seem to take interest in a woman. But she isn’t your typical woman. Luke wants to be trained by Mack and has to be tested by Andi. Even though he thought it was the guy standing next to her. Open mouth insert foot comes into play here. Well there is instant attraction here.
Well they start dating but there is something that is there to crush their dreams of being together. They both have a past that is haunting them and will it cause so much trouble that they will not be able to stay together. Let’s just say that this book is a roller coaster of emotion. We find out about Andi past that Luke’s dad brings into the light. But what’s worse is that Luke’s trust issues play a big role and he becomes an ass.
Luke finally realizes his mistakes and does everything he can to win her back. But is it enough, because now that her past has come to the light there is someone powerful that wants her past to stay there. It is a powerful politician and he does not want to taint his appearance. So now Andi is feeling torn between protecting her friends and family while staying strong and taking on this pissed off bull.
There are a lot of other wonderful characters that you will meet in this book. Shane her brother from another mother, Brandon, Luke’s brother, and all of Andi’s girlfriends.
Okay go out and purchase this book. You will not be disappointed. Author A.D Justice did another wonderful job writing a book that you could not put down. I give this book a honest 5 star review.

If I’m honest, I find books need to speak to an audience. After reading ‘Crazy Maybe’ by A.D Justice, I am kind of speechless.

Characters like Andi, are why I read but also why I write. How do you describe a pivotal strong character that stands out? A.D Justice hit the hammer on the nail with the portrayal of such an emotionally charged and powerful narrative. Andi and Luke’s story reads more than just words on the page. It is powerful, the emotion is touching and the words are uncannily high-powered. The chord that struck me through reading Crazy Maybe was that there was fight and power in the story of how the foster system treats a person. Although I found some of the narrative to be unrealistic, it was relatable in its own kind.

What drew me to continue reading was the vigorous voice of the writer and the characters narrative. Andi and Luke both draw so much power in the narrative, of the will to fight, to be loved, to survive. Love takes it’s course and sometimes you don’t have control over that. I found that reading through, there were moments I would cry for Andi and there were moments between Andi, Luke and the other characters that made me laugh. My favourite part about reading this book was the faith and trust that Andi and Luke put in each other. It was heart felt, kind, supportive and a testament to good writing by A.D Justice. The sad scenes were written with emotion, but also contempt to allow the reader to understand cases that do happen similar to the narrative. Overall, a powerfully pivotal narrative that brings together a strong female character with an ever so romantic male lead with passion and heart. What is made is magic, what is spoken is raw and what is left is love.

This book was a pleasant surprise! I am not entirely sure what I was looking for when I started this book, but I got quite a treat. I assumed there would be more fighting/boxing thanks to the intro but honestly while it plays a role there isn’t near as much as I assumed. The chemistry between Luke & Andi was so real feeling and I loved that while it was instant, the author built up their characters relationship slowly before putting them in some of the insanely HOT sex scenes!
Luke is a hopeful boxer, who goes to a gym ran by Andi’s pseudo father to pick up some training. Andi, was emancipated at the age of 16 after the untimely deaths of her parents and a stint in foster care, and a mental institute (the reason why is a huge part of the story), and is on the verge of her 25 birthday and inheriting billions of dollars. So you have all the parts of a great story awesomely hot male lead, sexy strong yet sensitive female lead, attraction, money, scandal and more. There are several shocking revelations about the main characters, and we get to watch their relationship bloom, fall apart and then flourish. I was really touched by some of the things Luke says to Andi, and vice versa. This book was written in a way that you get entirely sucked in to the story and the feelings between all the characters. This is a great read for romance lovers, especially if you enjoy some suspense and hot steamy sex!

Be warned, by the time you get to the end of this book you'll need tissues. I'm not ugly crying, I'm sad crying and happy crying mixed together.

I've shouted at this book, I've been so frustrated at the characters actions I've sworn at them, I got totally involved in it, and I bloody loved it.

I was immediately drawn to this book by the boxing club references, but it's not what I thought it was at all, there are still hot and hunky fighters in here, but they're just the side dressing to the main story.

Andi... What can I say, I think she has to be one of the strongest characters I've ever read. The surprises in this book come way out of left field every time, and leave you shocked, and nearly every single one of them hurts Andi in some way.

Luke is an idiot... Well he's a hot hunk of an idiot but time and again I found myself shouting at him over his stupidity and narrow vision. The tension between these two was great, wanting to be together but neither wanting to admit it.

There are some excellent supporting characters in this book, and it gives you a lot of messages without being preachy. It deals with some uncomfortable topics, but not in a way that glorifies them, but highlights them in a way that would help other victims come forward and seek help.

It's a beautifully written story, it felt like there was always something happening, even if I didn't like what was happening and this is definitely going on my all time favourite reads list.

Crazy Maybe was a great read. It is told in dual POV so you are able to get in both H/h respective heads. Andi is tough and super spunky; while she spends her days working at either the boxing gym or at a local youth centre, her evenings are spent singing karaoke in front of all her friends at their favorite club. Now this is no ordinary karaoke, I’m talking costumes and sets! Andi first see’s Luke at the club when she is on stage and for these two it is definitely lust at first sight! When they cross paths again at the boxing gym the sparks are flying! But Luke is not a relationship guy and Andi doesn’t do one night stands so they decide to be friends. This last for a while and really adds to the sexualtension! When these two finally get together it is H-O-T!

Both Andi and Luke have secrets and issues from their past however I
didn’t find this book to be overrun with relationship angst which was very refreshing!I don’t want to give too much away but this book fairly long and jam packed with loads of super-hot sex, very romantic love, emotional heartbreak and page turning suspense!

Passion, chemistry, sex, friendship, suspense and A.d. Justice has it all in this non stop read book. I loved the characters she has developed into this book that has real life situations and is very heartfelt.

Andi is a strong knows what she wants kind if girl. She was emancipated when she was only 16 after she lost her parents in pa car crash and sent into foster care by her only living blood relative. She was basically raised by a single boxing trainer Mack who also "raisedShNe) Andi's "brother". Even though they all lived separately they were family or as close or family as they could get.
One day Luke walks I to the gym and wants Mack to train him to box. Luke is the black sheep of his family and they don't agree with Luke's wanting to box. But he determined to box professionally.
There is instant chemistry between Andi and Luke. That is until Luke says he wants to only be friends with Andi. She is determined to keep their relationship as friends only until Luke admits that he wants more. Luke takes Andi to meet his family and they even know there is more to their relationship than just friends. During this visit Andi says so etching about her past that sparks a memory in Luke's Dad. When he digs into her past what will he find. Will it be something that will tear Luke and Andi part before they can even begin?

Crazy Maybe is one of those rare books that drew me in from the beginning and didn't let go until I finished. Andi and Luke are true soul mates and the chemistry between them is off the charts!!

Andi had been let down by the foster care system and had been on her own at a young age. She was working at the gym with her 'dad' and 'brother', Mack and Shane, who had taken her under their wing and protected her. She was one tough heroine in my book considering everything she had been through and had such a good heart. She was always willing to help others and I loved her character.

Luke had been disappointed by his family over his career choices and when he walked into that gym to train, you could feel the sparks fly between him and Andi. But, who couldn't turn him down? He's a sweetheart but yet a good kind of bad boy!

But this book isn't just your typical bad boy meets good girl. You have a lot of twists to this story and the whole time I'm hoping justice will prevail. The fact that this book touches on real life situations is one reason I found it so intriguing and it kept my interest throughout the entire book. I was drawn into all of the characters and was pulling for Andi and Luke the whole way!! I think the characters were well developed and will really make you believe in happy endings. I am definitely looking forward to more books by A.D Justice!!

This review is MY opinion of the book. Please read the synopsis, content warnings, reviews and any free material prior to purchasing.

This book took my by surprise. Crazy Maybe touched my heart. It touched my memories. It touched my soul. Andie is a woman who is used to counting on herself. She doesn't rely on anyone except herself. She has a heart of gold and a past filled with loss, hurt, pain and secrets. Luke is a man who is struggling to find himself. He grew up with what Andie has missed. However, Luke also had loss, hurt and pain in his past. I can relate to both of these characters. I felt their pain, their loss and their confusion. A.d. Justice does a great job of showing that although you can have instant attraction to someone...you don't know someone. That takes time. However, if you build a friendship you can always have a foundation to work with. Andie and Luke make lots of mistakes and have a lot of miscommunications. Love is not easy. Life is not easy and the past can come back and haunt you. This book shows what TRUE family is...and what it isn't. This book shows what TRUE love is....and how it can be lost. Give this book a read and see if you see yourself. I did.......Live each day as if it is your last because one day it will be......

Four Fabulous Stars for Crazy Maybe. Andi has had her share of heartache and she has built walls to protect herself from any further harm. She pours herself into working at the gym and working with the kids at the youth center.

Luke had his heart broken and he has no desire to put himself out there again. He pours himself into pursuing a professional boxing career, while searching, but never knowing what will fill the void left by his ex.

The chemistry between Andi and Luke is intense. They gravitate toward one another, but fight it every step. Andi has secrets to keep and walls to maintain. Luke has a heart to protect and a career that he needs to focus on.

This story was full of angst, drama, and some tense moments that kept me turning the pages. I enjoyed how the author incorporated music into the story and how the song choices provided depth to the story line.

I was provided an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I'm not sure if all these 5 star people and I read the same book. It must be a mistake because the book I read was nowhere near 5 stars. I believe this book had every cliche romance novel line ever written. From "his jet black hair that could make a woman beg to run her fingers through it" to "his cheekbones and jaw must have been carved from pure granite" to "he looks at me like he's a predator that's about to pounce and devour me whole." I mean, the first few pages just talks about his muscles and ripped abs.

I will leave you with one more quote that I had to re-read to make sure I was reading it right: "Neither of us are moving or even smiling but I feel electricity arcing between us as he moves closer and closer." uh... what?

And then after this amazing attraction, he blows her off as inconsequential? I tried to read it. I just felt like I was reading all highlighted parts of a dozen different romance novels. No originality.
