'After so many years have passed, it’s hard to remember things precisely. What people once said has almost turned into lies. Can’t trust them. It’s fucked up, the past, it dissolves into daydreams. It picks up little melodies on the way that you didn’t ask for. The past comes back to you all made up, with tears and repentances wandering around. It’s not serious.'
‘It’s funny there are beings who seem loaded with baggage, they come from infinity, set down before you their heavy baggage of emotions like at the market. They’re not mistrustful, they pour out their merchandise any which way. They don’t know how to present things properly. You don’t really have time to search through their things, you pass on, you don’t go back, you’re in a hurry yourself. That must make them sad. Maybe they pack up again? Or just abandon their things? I don’t know. What becomes of them? We don’t have a clue. Maybe they set off again until nothing’s left? And then where do they go? Life is enormous all the same. You can lose yourself anywhere.'
'I was looking at it—life—as it was almost torturing me. When it puts me through the agony of death for good, I’ll spit in its face just like that. It’s completely idiotic starting from a certain point, you can’t fool me, I know life too well. I’ve seen it. We’ll find each other again. We have unfinished business. Life can fuck off. But I have to tell everything.'
