I'm an autistic non-binary author with a penchant for the dark and strange. I primarily write SFF but enjoy literary writing as well. (Pronouns: they/them)

When not writing, I teach music at an international school, climb, eat anything involving peanut butter, and serve the whims of my shiba inu.

Another highly enjoyable installment with some beautiful art. This reminded me a lot of the Hearts of Stone DLC with a similar theme of dream/nightmare vs reality.

Well, that was spectacular. I loved everything about this. The magic, the characters, the prose, the occasional illustration, the queerness, the stories within stories. This ticked all the boxes for me and solidified my adoration for Harrow as an aut ...more

‘You’re right. Sometimes it gives us what we need.”

“I cannot express it; but surely you and everybody have a notion that there is or should be an existence of yours beyond you. What were the use of my creation, if I were entirely contained here? My great miseries in this world have been Heathcliff's miseries, and I watched and felt each from the beginning: my great thought in living is himself. If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger: I should not seem a part of it. My love for Linton is like the foliage in the woods: time will change it, I'm well aware, as winter changes the trees. My love for Heathcliff resembles the eternal rocks beneath: a source of little visible delight, but necessary. Nelly, I am Heathcliff! He's always, always in my mind: not as a pleasure, any more than I am always a pleasure to myself, but as my own being.”
Emily Brontë, Wuthering Heights

“Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up.”
Neil Gaiman, The Sandman, Vol. 9: The Kindly Ones

“Sometimes you wake up. Sometimes the fall kills you. And sometimes, when you fall, you fly.”
Neil Gaiman, The Sandman, Vol. 6: Fables & Reflections

“I suspect there will never be a requiem for a dream, simply because it will destroy us before we have the opportunity to mourn it's passing.”
Hubert Selby Jr., Requiem for a Dream

“The night is the hardest time to be alive and 4am knows all my secrets.”
Poppy Z. Brite
