Sept. 18 Update from AHS

sept. 18

AHS Family,

Our Apalachee teachers and staff are back at school this week preparing to welcome students during our phased return which begins with an Open House on Monday, Sept. 23. Some of our extracurricular groups chose to resume competitions, including CHEE volleyball, softball, Cross Country, and our Marching Cats performing in a band exhibition.

Along with the information about the Open House on Sept. 23, we wanted to share a few other updates with you.

SCHEDULES
After Friday, please check the student/parent Infinite Campus portal to see if your schedule has any changes. We’d like you to walk through your schedule during the Open House.

HOMECOMING
We will announce a rescheduled Homecoming winter date as soon as it is finalized.

COUNSELING
Counseling support is available at the Winder Public Library from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Sept. 20. There is no need to register; check in at the front desk. AHS students can also attend a free therapy session on Sept. 21. Please see the attached files for information.

As a reminder, you can find additional resources and answers to frequently asked questions on the BCSS website.

Sincerely,
Jessica Rehberg
AHS Principal
