Local government service

As part of an award-winning team at the City of Kirkland, I helped design programs and develop policy around sustainability. I created and implemented outreach plans for high-profile projects. My work involved regional collaborations with cities, counties, utilities, and state agencies around Washington.

Environmental graphic design

At a small environmental consulting firm, I designed interpretive signs, posters, and reports for government agencies and NGOs.

Trained in science and communication

I hold a B.S. in environmental science and have been trained in Community-Based Social Marketing for behavior change. I draw on a diverse array of experiences: guiding interpretive tours, conducting field research, coaching presenters, tutoring writers, and developing websites. I have particular expertise in solid waste and ecology.
