- "Someone to see ya, honey! Jedi, by the looks of him."
- ―FLO to Dexter Jettster
FLO, also known as WA-7 or Wanda,[4] was the nickname of a WA-7 waitress droid working at Dex's Diner on Coruscant. She once served Obi-Wan Kenobi when he came to the diner asking for help from Dexter Jettster.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
- "You've, er, caught me at a bad time. My best waitress, Wanda, has blown a fuse and I can't keep up with all these customers! Think ya could help out an old buddy and take some orders to the right tables? I gotta fix up old Wanda. Soon as we get finished, I'm all yours. Whaddya say?"
- ―Dexter Jettster in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
FLO was voiced by Australian actress Susie Porter for Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, who also portrays Hermione Bagwa in the film. During shooting, Porter delivered her lines as both FLO and Bagwa, though in the final film FLO was chosen to have the speaking role.[6] The name FLO is a nod to the character Florence "Flo" Castleberry from the 1970s sitcom Alice, itself based on the 1974 film Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, which was directed by George Lucas's friend Martin Scorsese.[7]
In the non-canon video game LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, FLO blows a fuse just before Obi-Wan Kenobi arrives at the diner to ask Dexter Jettster about a Kamino saberdart. As a result, Jettster has to ask Kenobi to help wait tables while he fixes Wanda.[5]
