David Kenneth Harbour (born April 10, 1975) is an American actor. He has appeared in movies, television shows and Broadway plays. Since 2016, he has starred in the Netflix series Stranger Things as Police Chief Jim Hopper. The role gave him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. He played Nick in the 2005 version of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and the title character of the movie reboot Hellboy (2019).

Harbour was born in White Plains, New York. He graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire in 1997.[1]
