Ben Travers indieWire As vicious as the series can get, it’s careful, even considerate, in doling out comeuppance. It’s also unsurprisingly striking. Rated: A- Sep 9, 2024 Full Review Rafaela Sales Ross Little White Lies This experimental approach when it comes to narrative construction makes for an interesting exercise in perspective, further blurring the lines between the story’s concurring truths. Sep 3, 2024 Full Review Liz Shannon Miller Consequence The biggest mystery of Disclaimer isn’t what happened to Catherine, all those years ago. Rated: B Sep 3, 2024 Full Review Rachel Goodman NOW Toronto With the help of this atypical narrative device, Cuarón delves into the grubbiest nooks and crannies of each character’s psyche, adding depth and dimension to a sprawling and masterfully constructed story. Sep 17, 2024 Full Review Kayleigh Donaldson Pajiba Turning Disclaimer into something so prestigious only reinforces the limits of the source material, and no amount of excellent direction can overcome those rigid foundations.
