I started writing As Above, So Below because my soon-to-be cowriter Brian Thomas was showing me around Los Angeles -- and he had a thing for Coop's devil girl stickers. I only meant to write a short story, but Brian jumped in with a second -- then a third -- chapter and the whole thing snowballed from there.
