Karleigh Bon is an author-artist-storyteller-voice actor-armchair comedian-gamer-geek, singer-songwriter, talking bot coder, friend of puppies, high fantasy fan-girl and author of the, "Tales of Eldelórne," trilogy and producer of the podcast by the same name.

“Sometimes cheeky, sometimes serious, these Eldelórne tales are decidedly an entanglement of emotion and adventure in the form of epic high fantasy.” ~Aiden A.

— Bon creates stories that express a balanced perspective about life, society and relationships while using fictional characters and she does it without being preachy. With that said, I can only imagine what that would feel like. I gather that it is a kind of loss of passion or creativity for the project in front of you. I have a historical fiction that I was passionately working on in the early 2000's that has been set aside because my inspiration, who was my auntie, died. It seems the book died with her. But I still have it with hopes to get back to it again someday. In the meantime, I wrote small short haiku (my fav) and tied to revive my passion to write in small ways. I also blabbed incoherently into my text note journal. I was also reporting for a newspaper at the time so there was never a time to quit completely. Maybe that is the cure... stubbornly keep on writing no matter what. (less)

I have broken down crying when they got hurt and laughed at their antics. That is why I have a discipline of ON writing time and OFF writing time. You can't live in the story in our real world or you would lose touch with reality! Next thing I like about it are intelligent people who read books and care about stories. They are the best people in the world!(less)

I have been convalescing

I had a catastrophic failure to my health on December 25th 2023. Without getting into too many details let me just say, at this time, I have had three major surgeries and several procedures and many hours of strengthening physical therapy. They tell me I am resilient, though I do not feel that way. Hindsight […]
