"Ma" Rainey (denaske Gertrude PRIDGETT, Septembro 1882[1] aŭ 26a de Aprilo, 1886 – 22-a de decembro 1939)[2] estis unu el la plej fruaj Afrik-usonaj profesiaj blus-kantistinoj kaj unu el la kantistoj de unua generacio de bluso kiuj registris.[3] Ŝi estis kromnomita "Mother of the Blues" (Bluspatrino). Ŝi floris en la 1920-aj jaroj.
