You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Little Witch Nobeta), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Your GA nomination of Ib (video game)

[edit]

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Ib (video game) you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by ChristieBot, on behalf of Vrxces -- Vrxces (talk) 05:42, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Charcoal feather, Please don't add tag copyright, I tried so hard to improve this article and you just follow me and say "you're just copying and pasting", I didn't just copy and past, This article needs copyediting. At least you can improve this a a bit. Please don't add tag. Thank you. M.A.LasTroniN910 (talk) 19:06, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It is true that I have done this many times in the past without having the knowledge, but I will not do it again. M.A.LasTroniN910 (talk) 19:11, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I've removed the content. I'm not sure if you are aware, but machine-translated copy pasted content is still a copyright violation. See WP:NONENGPLAG. Please stop adding copyrighted material to articles. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me! 19:18, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, M.A.LasTroniN910. I'm sure that you worked hard, and the article does look good overall. However, you appear to have translated verbatim some parts of it from copyrighted sources. For example, a machine translation of this source gives the following text:

When depicting the fighting scenes, the author does not stick to the single action sketch of the characters, but pays more attention to the flow of the fighting. Through the mixed techniques of ink and pen lines, the lines bring out smooth and rapid movements, making the fighting full of action and avoiding the sense of movement. Stiff stay.

And you added the following to the article:

When depicting the fighting scenes, the author does not stick to the action sketches of the characters alone, but pays more attention to the fluidity of the fighting. Through the mixed techniques of ink and pen lines, the lines bring out smooth and rapid movements, making the fighting full of action and avoiding bluntness stay behind.

Hey @ARandomName123, Maybe a little copying and pasting has been done where Charcoal feather is mentioned, but you should not delete the entire production section, the entire section is not copy and pasted.
I will do all the requisites and do a complete rewrite soon, thanks M.A.LasTroniN910 (talk) 01:22, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A little copy pasting? Roughly half the production section is copy-pasted from here, and the other half also seems translated, with weird phrases. You were given a final warning on your talk page a month ago, and yet you have continued to copy paste content here. I've also went through some of your past edits, and your plot descriptions are also suspicious; they end in questions, contain weird wording choices, and unusual sentence structuring. ex. here ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me! 01:43, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@ARandomName123, I am not a native English speaker However, I never wanted to do anything suspicious and I was always looking to improve the articles and I will do my best to improve the articles in the best way and from now on I will continue my activity more carefully. Thank you for reminding me. M.A.LasTroniN910 (talk) 02:20, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Ib (video game)

[edit]

The article Ib (video game) you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Ib (video game) for comments about the article, and Talk:Ib (video game)/GA1 for the nomination. Well done! If the article has never appeared on the Main Page as a "Did you know" item, and has not appeared within the last year either as "Today's featured article", or as a bold link under "In the news" or in the "On this day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear at DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On this day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. RfC closure

I do not think your closure was correct, because one of your statements is wrong. Please see Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard#RfC closure by inexperienced editor.--Jasper Deng (talk) 00:26, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I may have brought this to AN too quickly but still request you to undo your closure.--Jasper Deng (talk) 02:12, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I responded there. Charcoal feather (talk) 02:18, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Charcoal feather. Could you please amend your close to add what next steps you would recommend, as that was part of my request at CR. voorts (talk/contributions) 22:08, 2 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I missed the request for recommendation on next steps. I have amended the closure. Charcoal feather (talk) 22:51, 2 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
