Florin Croitoru, Violinist

Florin Croitoru, is truly one of the great violinists to have emerged from Romania in modern times.

In 1994, he made his debut with the Vienna PHilharmonic. The Austrian press has acclaimed him as the "phenomenal soloist", mastering a "perfect technique".

Violinist Florin Croitoru, has performed in countless recitals and with symphony orchestras in more than 20 countries. Rave reviews followed every concert...

He is the recipient of 11 prizes in different international music competitions including the first prize at the "Fritz Kreisler" competition in Vienna (1992), becoming the first Romanian violinist distinguished with the prestigious award.

Many recordings and broadcasts for American, British, Irish, Norwegian, Japanese, Austrian, Romanian, Hungarian, Italian and French Radio and TV stations, preceded his brief hiatus from his illustrious performance career, to implement his PhD research on a new method of "teaching violin".

Since 1999, Violin Professor, PhD., at the National Music University in Bucharest, Dr. Croitoru is regularly invited around the world as a jury member of International Music Competitions, and also for teaching violin master courses.
