Name

[edit]

Wasn't this guys name Jay-o or am I confusing to him with another artist? I mean if he is dissing Jay-z i mean i think they had beef over there name or something like that can someone explain this please.

That's Jaz-O, Jayo dissed Jay-Z over something Jay said. XdiabolicalX 13:52, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Signing to G-Unit?

[edit]

I'm not sure about these rumors. Jayo Felony did a song with The Game (obviously an enemy of G-Unit). I doubt that 50 Cent would want someone associated with Game, and I even more highly doubt that The Game would work with a potential G-Unit member.

The song I'm talking about is "Back 2 Back" feature The Game and Jayo Felony. It can be found on LimeWire

This was probably before Game was even signed to Aftermath, around the time he was working with JT Tha Bigga Figga. XdiabolicalX 13:56, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rollin 40's

[edit]

Changed gang affiliation from Neighborhood 47 Street, to Neighborhood Rollin 40's. 47 Blocc (47 Street) is a click of the NH Rollin 40's Crips that Jayo belonged to. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.177.37.156 (talk) 18:05, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jayo Felony discography

[edit]

Support split - Discography section takes up close to half of the page and should be split to a new article entitled Jayo Felony discography. --Jax 0677 (talk) 14:39, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

He smoked a dip. He was a crip and he used to whip. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:1810:4D09:4A00:5109:E48F:856C:3369 (talk) 15:29, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Lets make the Wiki great Steve Pruitt proud!

[edit]

Hello Wiki community! Anyone care to help properly contribute to a small but very significant piece of American Hip Hop history? Music history? This is an artist originally discovered by the legendary Jam Master J of Run DMC. Please join myself and original authors in updating the Jayo Felony page all his notable albums (which have all been published here on Wiki for years and now in jeopardy of deletion)

Lets make the great Steven Pruitt proud!

Sort keys

[edit]

I have aligned the sort keys for the article's default sort and the talk page's list as setting to be "Felony, Jayo". However, the guidelines indicate that articles about people should be sorted by the person's name, as "surname, forename" - but gives no guidance about sorting that way when the article title is the person's stage name. Taken literally, the guidance would suggest this article should be sorted as "Savage, James", but that would only make sense if the article bore the artist's real name. In this case, I found one cited source that referred to this artist as "Felony", as if that was his surname. On that basis, I have used the setting "listas=Felony, Jayo". - Cameron Dewe (talk) 00:35, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
