Welcome to the American Sign Language wikibook. American Sign Language, or ASL is a visual language expressed through hand gestures and facial expressions. It is a language used by many Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and hearing people in North America. This wikibook aims to teach ASL vocabulary, grammar and exercises to beginners. Feel free to contribute!
