IPA on Yggdrasil Article

Hello :) May I ask why you removed the IPA for the pronunciation for Yggdrasil in 2019? Sorry for asking about something from so long ago. I did see the whole drama on the talk page about it in 2009, but saw nothing from around the time it was removed. Just asking because it was something I was looking for today and generally I go to Wikipedia for pronouncing words I don't speak the origin language of (or something from the same family). At some point in the past we saw a wave of IPA additions that were unsourced and often dubious. This sounds like it was one of them. Wikipedia requires a WP:RS for any claim. :bloodofox: (talk) 20:19, 17 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
