Synopsis for "The Savage Time, Part II"

Superman, Flash, and Hawkgirl desperately help the Allied forces that are withdrawing from a beach. When Hawkgirl informs Flash about being forced to leave Green Lantern, Flash runs to find him. Superman and Hawkgirl are then forced to deal with a fighter wing of Messerschmitts. Fortunately, they are aided by a squadron of ace fighters, the Blackhawks. Their battle forces the enemy planes to retreat.

Thereafter, Flash returns and hasn't found Green Lantern. Though Flash is insistent on finding Lantern, he is scolded by Hawkgirl that there are other urging matters at hand in which she shows him the number of wounded Allied soldiers that are being treated. The search for Green Lantern has to be done later. The Blackhawks properly introduce themselves to the League, and request their help to destroy a German war factory in which they obliged.

Meanwhile, Green Lantern have escaped from the War Wheels, but is knocked unconscious in the process. Upon waking up, he is found by Easy Company, a squad of American commandos. Initially, Easy Company is leery of Lantern until he proved his valor without the use of his power ring by single-handedly subduing their member Bulldozer in hand-to-hand combat thanks to his time in the United States Marine Corps. The squad's leader, Sgt. Rock, is left impressed and welcomes Lantern to Easy Company, and set out on their mission to destroying a secret airfield that the Germans are using to launch their invasion.

J'onn is being interrogated by Vandal Savage in his laboratory. Savage is assume by J'onn to be another time traveler like the League, but Savage corrects him that he is not. He explains that his future-self sent him a laptop which contained his message to inform him that World War II was the perfect opportunity to achieve world domination. The computer also contained the schematics for the advanced technology currently used by the Germans, and crucial information about World War II. J'onn curiously notes Savage how his future-self haven't visibly age at all in which Savage enigmatically replies "You have no idea." Savage then leaves J'onn to be torture. But when Savage returns, he finds J'onn has escaped and destroyed the laptop. Disregarding to recapture J'onn, Savage orders his planned invasion to proceed immediately.

Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor awaits for the code breaker, Ernst, at a French farm house. However, German soldiers appear and attack. Steve deduce that Ernst may have been captured. Wonder Woman effortlessly takes out the soldiers by herself much to Steve's surprise. One of the soldiers is intimidated to disclose Ernst's location. Wonder Woman and Steve find Ernst being held at a prison and manages to free him. But Ernst warns them that they are in a trap just as War Wheels surround the prison.
