Eeras (Earth-Two)

Eeras was the Queen of the Atlantean kingdom Aurania.

History

Eeras' realm was conquered by Queen Clea during World War II, and Eeras fled to the surface world to plan her counterattack. While in hiding under the name Madra the queen sought out new tools which she might use in her fight against Clea and grew to dislike the Axis powers, killing any who she found colluding with them while avoiding proper battlefields. She came across knowledge of the development of the non-lethal Devitamizer formula, and learned that it's creator had been killed and managed to pass on his notes to three trusted individuals whom she then tracked down to copy their portion of the notes. This journey was made difficult by the fact that the holder of the first piece had died, the second piece had been stolen and the third piece was given to a traitor. She found and killed the traitor, but only came into possession of the information on the other sheets when Steve Trevor arrived looking for the third piece after having acquired the other two.

Clea very nearly reconquered Aurania using kidnapped Axis sailors as slave soldiers after Eeras deposed her. But Eeras' free army alongside her allies Wonder Woman, the Holliday Girls and last minute US military reinforcements lead by Steve Trevor was able soundly defeat the cruel Venturian noble.

The small principality was then overtaken again by the tyrannical King Manlius. After both tyrants had been overthrown and expelled Aurania elected to become a democracy.^[2]

Notes

• This version of Eeras, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
