Ability Connection Oklahoma receives $10,000 grant from the Cox Charities Foundation Fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation


Oklahoma City, OK – Ability Connection Oklahoma is pleased to announce it has received a $10,000 grant from the Cox Charities Foundation Fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. The grant will be used to assist in funding our New Voices program, which will allow Ability Connection Oklahoma to expand access to its programs and services.


The New Voices program serves non-verbal students with disabilities, ages 4+. By providing a voice, Ability Connection Oklahoma is empowering students to learn new skills and communicate independently.


Those approved will receive an iPad, or similar device, and speech “app” to be used as a speech communication device. The iPad will be utilized in school, home, and community, to enable communication and education. To apply for the New Voices program, please call 405/759-3562 or email okc@acok.org.
