Durable Medical Equipment Grants & Loans
Permanent and/or temporary loans of durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, bath seats, etc. are provided without charge, regardless of disability.
Financial Assistance and AT Grants
Financial Assistance: As funding permits, Ability Connection Oklahoma can provide assistance in funding for specific expenses related to disability that have no other source of funding. Through a simple application process, a committee reviews requests in the following areas; specialized adaptive aids, diapers, specialized formula, medical equipment and repair, etc.
New Voices: Thanks to the latest digital technology in the form of the Apple iPad tablet computer, students age 4+, that are non-verbal and have a disability, are learning to “speak” for the first time and communicate with family, friends, and teachers. The iPad's unique size and portability make it a good fit for children and adults with disabilities. Comprehensive language software or “apps” are available as well.

Financial data
Ability Connection of Oklahoma
Balance sheetFiscal Year: Oct 01 - Sep 30
The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
Fiscal Year: Oct 01 - Sep 30
This snapshot of Ability Connection of Oklahoma’s financial trends applies Nonprofit Finance Fund® analysis to data hosted by GuideStar. While it highlights the data that matter most, remember that context is key – numbers only tell part of any story.
