Schirin "Schai" Grace Sigrist, better known as Shy Carlos (born March 16, 1995)[1], is a Filipina-Swiss Actress, Singer, Rapper and TV Personality. She is well known being a member of a P-Pop group Pop Girls[1] and for her role in Bagets: Just Got Lucky as Gayle Fresnido.[1]
Background
[edit]Shy started singing and dancing at the age of 10. She has done several television commercials. She appeared in Jollibee, Safeguard, Jelly Age, Stick-O, Del Monte and San Remo Pasta advertisements.
Shy is one of the members of Pop Girls.[2] She’s the only one who’s studying in an actual school,OB Montessori Center, Inc. While the others are on home study program. She is Pretty, Talented and knows how to project in front of many people.That’s why when Viva Records called for an audition for a new girl group, among 50 hopefuls, Schai got the slot easily. She loves to dance and sing, not just love, because she is really good at it. She never loses her smiling and blooming face whenever she’s performing, that’s her passion.[2]
At year 2011, she started her own career and made her acting debut on Bagets: Just Got Lucky[3] as Gayle Fresnido, the "kikay" girl who stalks “emo” guy JC (Rico Dela Paz). The two will eventually discover and appreciate their individualities more than their differences. [3] Shy also guested in some episodes of Maynila and performed on Hey it's Saberdey! and Sunday Funday.
