New Shows & Movies to Watch This Weekend: ‘How To Die Alone’ on Hulu + More

It’s going to be tough deciding what to watch first on a weekend stacked full of great new shows and movies on streaming. On Netflix, you can catch the final episodes of this season of Emily in Paris (plus a new season of The Circle!), Paramount+ has the season 2 premiere of Tulsa King, Hulu’s got the new original How To Die Alone, along with a new season of Jeff Bridges’ The Old Man, and Starz is debuting the new limited series Three Women. There will barely be time for bathroom breaks, honestly.

New Movies & Shows To Stream This Weekend: How To Die Alone, Three Women, Emily In Paris + More

Natasha Rothwell created, wrote, and stars in the new Hulu dramatic comedy How To Die Alone, about a woman who changes her life after a near-death experience involving crab rangoon. The limited series Three Women premieres on Friday on Starz, and you can catch Lily Collins in part two of Emily In Paris season 4, which arrived on Netflix on Thursday.

New on Hulu September 13: How To Die Alone

Natasha Rothwell was a scene-stealer on shows like The White Lotus and Insecure, and now she’s playing the lead in How To Die Alone, the new dramedy she created for Hulu. Rothwell plays Mel, a broke, depressed, unlucky in love airport employee whose brush with death makes her reevaluate what’s important in her life. Four episodes of the show are now available, with new episodes out on Fridays.

New on Starz September 13: Three Women

The new Starz limited series Three Women, based on the novel of the same name by Lisa Taddeo, stars Shailene Woodley, Betty Gilpin, Gabrielle Creevy and DeWanda Wise. Originally scheduled to air on Showtime in 2023, it was shelved until Starz acquired the series which will release a new episode every week. On the show, Woodley’s character, Gia, a writer, tells the stories of her three subjects, Lina (Gilpin), Maggie (Creevy) and Sloane (Wise).

New on Netflix September 12: Emily In Paris (Season 4, Part 2)

Have you ever thought that Emily in Paris has too much Paris in it? You’re in luck, because during the second half of season four, Emily hightails it out of the City of Light and heads to Rome for a Vespa-riding, Trevi Fountain-filled jaunt, among other things. The last five episodes of the latest season dropped on Netflix on Thursday.
