No Hard Feelings

Powered by Reelgood

We all know how funny and charming Jennifer Lawrence is in interviews, and she’s brought her funniest self to No Hard Feelings, her R-rated comedy that’s out now on VOD. Also out this week is Pixar’s newest film, Elemental, an allegory on accepting different cultures, set in a universe built around the classical elements.

And if you have been wondering what hot Matt the insurance agent (Daryl McCormick) from Bad Sisters has been up to, you can catch him in The Lesson, a dark thriller that co-stars Richard E. Grant and Julie Delpy as a wealthy literary couple who hire McCormick’s Liam to tutor their son. They all live together in the couple’s creepy, huge mansion, and as you can imagine, it becomes something of a house of psychological horrors.

These are just a few of the titles that are available to watch on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, YouTube, and through your cable service this week. Check out what movies are available to buy or rent on demand now!

No Hard Feelings

Jennifer Lawrence stars in the raunchy R-rated comedy No Hard Feelings as Maddie Barker, a broke Uber driver who accepts an indecent (okay, more like desperate) proposal from a wealthy couple, played by Matthew Broderick and Laura Benanti: they’ll gift her a new car if she’ll date their socially awkward son. If Mother! marked the peak auteur-collab portion of Lawrence’s career, No Hard Feelings is her attempt to try the polar opposite of that, but it’s proof she can excel in any genre.

WHERE TO WATCH NO HARD FEELINGS

Elemental

Elemental is the latest from Disney-Pixar, and it features a land called Element City in which four different classes of people, all based on the natural elements, earth, fire, water, air, coexist in a separate-but-equal kind of way. When Ember Lumen (Leah Lewis), a Fire person, meets Water person Wade (Mamoudou Athie), they develop feelings for each other despite the fact that they’re not supposed to mix and from there, they face all the same struggles that every other “forbidden love story” character have to face (coupled with the fact that they could just turn each other to steam if things don’t work out).
