‘Gilmore Girls’ Season 1, Episode 7 “Kiss and Tell”
Calling all Gilmore Girls fans! September has finally arrived, and as we prepare for months of leaf peeping, cozy clothes, and chilled air, it’s time to embark on our seasonal trip to Stars Hollow. Since Amy Sherman-Palladino’s Connecticut-set dramedy premiered in October 2000, the series has become essential fall viewing thanks to episodes overflowing with rich autumnal aesthetics. From a foliage-heavy title card and sets teeming with fall decorations to seasonal wardrobe goals, charming small town traditions, and an iconic (deep-fried Korean) Thanksgiving episode, Gilmore Girls is the perfect TV show to set the September mood. A full series (re)watch is recommended, but those seeking a fall focus should start with Season 1, Episode 7, “Kiss and Tell.” Lorelai and Rory stroll past pumpkins and hay bales, Luke protests decorating the diner, and Rory and Lane work a cornucopia can drive. Plus, Rory gets kissed, shoplifts, and has a movie night with her crush and her mom. It’s truly one of the greats.
