There are worse arthouse horror films out there.
Yup. Pretty much what I expected... only BETTER! This film is a credit to Shudder. I almost never give any movie 5 full skulls, but this one nearly made it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Once again, the comments alone make me want to watch this. Haters hate it for the wrong reasons, and lovers love it for all the right ones. Thanks guys! Without even viewing it yet, I am willing to give it three skulls. :)
I was fully engaged in this film until the ending. this jason and the Argonauts claymmation bs at the end was truly awful. to look at and also juxtaposed against the clear cut vibe the film builds to. it's one of those movies that the premise and the idea is so grand when it gets to the end if you don't have the money to finish it just go to plan B? I just do not understand when You're busy achieving building a mood and an atmosphere with good acting why you would blatantly give up on the end like that. big letdown but i sincerly likrd everything about before that. and Stephen dorff? A+ work from him
