Dave Grohl Reportedly Found a Clever Way To Detract From His Bad Behavior Amid Affair

Dave Grohl was admittedly having an affair with a woman who was not his wife, Jordyn Blum while he was also reportedly trying to deflect any evidence that he was stepping outside of his marriage. The Foo Fighters frontman allegedly accused his wife of 21 years of having an affair with her tennis coach. 

“Dave Grohl has been jealous for ages about Jordyn’s hot tennis coach,” a source told the Daily Mail. Blum has been taking lessons from “hot” tennis pro Christopher Crabb for years, and Grohl believed they had a “flirty” relationship that was inappropriate. “They’ve had arguments about him, and Dave thinks they’ve flirted. Jordyn has told him he’s crazy to even think that,”  the insider revealed. “But Dave has persisted.” Crabb has coached many celebrities over the years including Hillary Duff, Steve Carell, and Elle and Dakota Fanning.

The source believes that Grohl’s accusation toward his wife and tennis pro were his way of detracting from the real affair that was going on and produced his fourth child, a daughter. On Tuesday, Sept. 11, Grohl shared the unexpected news to his fans about fathering a child outside of his marriage. “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” he wrote on Instagram. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.” 

Blum is still taking tennis lessons from Crabb and was spotted on the courts with him and Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz on Tuesday, Sept. 17. (You can see the photos here.) She was not wearing her wedding ring during the sporty outing which might be a major hint about where their marriage is headed. People reported that Grohl had retained a divorce attorney recently although no documents have been filed. 

Grohl’s infidelity issues were a recurring theme in his first marriage to Jennifer Youngblood and his former girlfriend Tina Basich chronicled his cheating ways in her 2003 memoir, Pretty Good for a Girl: The Autobiography of a Snowboarding Pioneer. “I don’t know how anyone in his profession can have a normal relationship with a girlfriend…or two, as it turned out. I found out secondhand, through the grapevine, when it seemed like everyone else in the world knew about it but me,” she wrote in her book. 

Grohl might have a lot of explaining to do because he’s the common denominator in each of these relationships, not the tennis coach.
