As I reflect on the learnings from the Leadership in an Exponentially Changing World program from MIT Sloan School of Management, they could have not come at a more appropriate time, as I was managing changes both personally and professionally, while also trying to adapt to the changes that we are facing in the world today. This program helped to understand in a more in-depth and meaningful way what great leadership should be, as it emphasizes the importance of understanding your context, relating to your team and others perspectives, having a vision of where you want to go as a leader and how to get there, by collaborating internally and externally, ultimately building highly collaborative, agile and diverse teams. It focus on the 4CAPS+ Leadership Framework, that for me completely revolutionized the way I see myself as a leader, but also the way I look at other leaders and how much of a difference it would make to many organizations and teams if these principles and way of working would serve as a foundation for continuous growth and development. My deep gratitude to Deborah Ancona, Andy Plump, Michael Sorrell, Kristina Allikmets and Maeve Coburn for their amazing insights and knowledge sharing, it was truly inspirational to learn from all of you. Especially in a world that keeps changing, at increasing speed and into directions we can no longer anticipate, these learnings bring a critical mindset change and a proactive approach to solving challenges, developing teams and growing organizations into the future. #mit #mitsloan #change #changemanagement #leadership

Learning and Development: A Never Ending Journey 🇸🇦 I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new organizational strategy certification: “Building Game-changing organizations: aligning purpose, performance, and people” from MIT Sloan School of Management which is another step in my lifelong excutive learning journey. I share with you some of my key takeaways from this program: - Hard-edged business leaders who consider themself Game-Changers know how to integrate soft-side (purpose, vision, and climate ) and hard-side of leadership into a powerfully formula. - Successful transformation in organizations has to be Purpose-Led, Performance-Driven, and Principles-Focused with proper organizational alignment. The weaving together of these three capabilities simultaneously is what helps leaders and organizations get and stay out in front. Thanks to the remarkable and distinguished faculty of MIT Douglas Ready and and the extended team at MIT Sloan School of Management Lyndi M Milton and the wonderfully and inspirational peers who made this experience so enriching Josh Brandt, Megan Butler, Jeremy Cayton, Luiz Das Neves, Michele Dietz , Glen Dixon, MBA , Choa Fan, John Floretta, Fabio Fornaciari, Navid G , Angel Jones, Paula Lieske, Javier Pereira, Naomi Rule , Stephen Sasser Marco Shiva, Amy Tsang, Fatima Babaer. @Cfore School Ranking 2024 Award Function! Attending the Cfore School Ranking 2024 award function and receiving the award on behalf of our school was truly an overwhelming and inspiring experience. It was an honor to represent our school, but what made it truly unforgettable was the chance to meet and interact with some of the most visionary leaders in the field of education. 🙏 I had the privilege of learning from esteemed educationists like Dr. Shayama Chona, Dr JOSEPH EMMANUEL , Abha Adams, Lieutenant General Arjun Ray, and Shalini Nambiar. Their passion, wisdom, and dedication to transforming education were truly inspiring! This experience left me with some thought-provoking questions: 1️⃣ How can we make education a tool for holistic development, nurturing not just the intellect but also the heart? 2️⃣ Are our classrooms truly inclusive and flexible, meeting the diverse needs of every learner? 3️⃣ As educators, how can we step beyond our roles and lead change that reaches beyond the classroom? 4️⃣ How can we stay ahead of the curve, constantly innovating to keep education relevant in a fast-evolving world? 💡 What I took away from this experience: The conference was a powerful reminder that the future of education depends on our willingness to ask these questions, embrace change, and keep the holistic development of our students at the heart of our efforts. To my fellow educators and leaders, how are you tackling these challenges in your own schools? Let’s share ideas and learn from each other! 💬 #Education #Leadership #Learning #Inspiration #SchoolAwards #InnovationInEducation #HolisticDevelopment #InclusiveEducation #EducationalLeadership #ChangeMakers #ContinuousLearning

Experienced Academic Leader and Leading digital expert | Transforming Education Through Strategic Leadership I Accredited facilitator in Crucial Conversations Mastering Dialogue.
#Leadership #training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Outstanding stewardship by Dr. Eduardo Contreras Jr. and Liya Escalera, PhD, organizing & running the program. We had the privilege of learning from exceptional speakers like Lisa Lahey, Whitney Benns, Pam Eddinger, and Lee Pelton, among others. Also, #thankyou Jana M. Hawley Ph. D Hawley for the ongoing support. #Key #Takeaways 1. Embracing an #AssetBased approach to student learning and support. 2. Understanding that #ChangeIsHard: The single biggest failure of leadership is treating #adaptive #challenges as #technical #problems. 3. Recognizing that #BuildingBelonging is a long process. 4. “#Information #sufficiency #bias” – thinking about the other person, the #context #matters. It was filled with #learning, #camaraderie (it was fun Michelle Gray, Zach McDowell, Ph.D., Peter Aaen, Abdullah Eroglu, Alex Lobos and Erica Jung), and pushing my current limits as a #leader.

Let's Dive into the Educational Conundrum! Are we being groomed to be corporate chess pieces or empowered free thinkers? The Corporate Chessboard: Many argue that our educational system is churning out graduates primed for the corporate world—a structured assembly line producing cogs in the corporate machine. Are we learning to follow orders, fit into predefined roles, and excel in the art of conformity? The Gateway to Individuality: On the flip side, some believe education should be a crucible for critical thinking, creativity, and independent thought. It's not just about memorizing facts but cultivating a mindset that questions, challenges, and forms opinions. Are we nurturing the next generation of innovators and thought leaders? Let's Find Common Ground: Perhaps the sweet spot lies in a balanced approach—equipping individuals with both the skills to navigate the corporate landscape and the mindset to contribute innovative ideas. #EducationDebate #CorporateSlaveOrFreeThinker #ThoughtLeadership #LinkedInDiscussion
