CTV is now a default part of most Digital Media Plans. This means videos that were being viewed on a Mobile device, are being cast on large CTV screens. Question for @marketers and @creative agencies: how good does a typical Digital Video look on a large TV screen? Advanced HDR by Technicolor breaks Brazil, waiting game for TV 3.0 Our standalone analysis of the state of UHD broadcasting across DTH and OTT in France during the 2024 Olympics showed that the CTA’s HDR10 and Dolby Laboratories Vision are the two dominant High Dynamic Range formats among the main French channels. Outside of France, however, Advanced HDR by Technicolor is making its own case as the HDR underdog. This feat came in Brazil, where Brazilian broadcaster Globo and German R&D institution Fraunhofer IIS have successfully demonstrated Advanced HDR by Technicolor Group and MPEG-H Audio on Hisense Group TVs. This comes as Brazil’s hotly anticipated next-generation DTT standard, TV 3.0, gears up for commercial roll-out from April 2025. #TV #broadcasting #HDR
