We work with residents, the Public Works Department, and Town leadership to:
* Assess and advise on tree health in public areas; making recommendations to keep, treat, or remove trees that pose a public safety risk;

* Assess, advise, and manage invasive species of trees/bushes;
* Communicate with the public about opportunities to plant trees/bushes; volunteer at town events related to the urban forest; and advise the public about forestry-related risks and mitigation strategies (such as brown tail moth infestations);
* Facilitate public presentations and volunteer opportunities related to the Town's urban forest and role as a Tree City USA (Such as our annual arbor day presentation to local schools).
