Sept. 15 is the start of #NationalHispanicHeritageMonth! Oklahoma’s Own celebrates our Hispanic communities, their culture & traditions and the many contributions they’ve made here in our state.

WOOFSTOCK 2024: The grooviest pet adoption event in Oklahoma will be BACK at Riverwalk Tulsa in Jenks, September 21st from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.! Bring your family, friends and four-legged pals to Woofstock for a fun-filled day! There will be dozens of animal rescue organizations and shelters, pet-related vendors and businesses, a Kid Zone, on-site microchipping from OAA, and more. While you’re there, make sure to swing by the booths for KOTV - News On 6 and all four radio stations – 106.9 K-Hits, 98.5 The Bull, Big Country 99.5 & 92.9 The River.

Today we wanted to share with you a Griffin Great, and that is Ryan Gillin. Ryan is a part of our content team here at the News On 6 and is dedicated to her job. She is always finding new ways to shoot stories and is always looking for a creative and heartfelt bridge into her stories. We appreciate her greatly! Thank you, Ryan, for all you do.

Today we wanted to share with you a Griffin Great, and that is Maddie Stockard. Maddie works in our HR department and her positive attitude and passion for her job is seen by all. She has taken the initiative to figure out how to harness new codes to develop an employee directory with photos that has been so helpful for the company. We appreciate her greatly! Thank you, Maddie, for all you do.

We wanted to share with you a Griffin Great, and that is Myeasha Dorman. Myeasha has recently been taking on some extra responsibilities and doing so with humility and a positive attitude. She is a friend to everyone and always has a smile on her face and for that we appreciate her greatly! Thank you, Myeasha, for all you do.

Today we wanted to share with you a group of Griffin Greats, and they are Aaron. Kris, Dan and Sam. This group is a part of our content team here at the News On 6.
