This week, Chicago Bears players made the most of their only day off on Tuesday in impactful ways.   Carl Jones, Reddy Steward and Roschon Johnson spent time with students in Chicago through the BAM (Becoming a Man) program, leading discussions on leadership, accountability and positive decision-making, inspiring students to look beyond the classroom.   Jaquan Brisker and Amen Ogbongbemiga participated in the Homeroom Huddle program, where they virtually read to young children from a local childcare center, encouraging them to embrace the joys of learning and discovery.   Meanwhile, Theo Benedet, Bill Murray and Chris Williams visited a local children's hospital. Staley Da Bear joined them, delivering teddy bears, gift cards and donuts to brighten their day.   Daniel Hardy and Staley Da Bear surprised a Chicago teacher from Bond Elementary School to recognize them as this week’s Classroom Legend for her dedication to creating a safe, supportive environment for her students in Englewood.   Players continue to show their commitment to making an impact off the field, extending far beyond game day.

This past weekend, over 100 Chicago Bears Alumni returned to Chicago for an Alumni Homecoming Weekend. Alumni reconnected over dinner with their families, honoring the legacy that shaped this storied franchise, strengthening bonds among teammates, welcoming new retirees and recognizing the contributions these alumni have made to the organization. Alumni also attended the Chicago Bears' season home opener to cheer and support the team. One of the most memorable moments was the halftime ceremony, honoring Steve ‘Mongo’ McMichael’s induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. McMichael, diagnosed with ALS in 2021, joined via FaceTime from his Illinois home, while his wife and daughter represented him at the game. The halftime events also featured tributes from his Super Bowl XX teammates, the ’85 Bears, as other alumni watched from the field. Former Chicago Bears teammate and Pro Football Hall of Famer Mike Singletary spoke passionately about McMichael’s legacy, saying, “Steve was a player, a teammate who was always there. He played more games than any man, his endurance was amazing. His tenacity was outstanding, in both good seasons and bad seasons. But above all, he was the ultimate unsung hero for all of us.” The heartfelt tributes from the Chicago Bears community show the impact Steve McMichael has made on his teammates, fans and the organization. To Steve, his family and all our alumni—thank you for your enduring contributions and for embodying the spirit of the Chicago Bears. Our first victory of the season was greater celebrated because of your presence! Here’s to the past, present and future of the Chicago Bears. Bear Down!

Yesterday, the Chicago Bears and Levy Restaurants hosted a special tasting event at Soldier Field, offering fans an early glimpse of the new food and beverage options designed to elevate the game-day experience this season.   Some of the new offerings include Bears Claw pretzels, Gigi’s crispy chicken tenders, dessert from Sugar Bliss and the "Odunze Dog," inspired by Chicago Bears 2024 first-round draft pick Rome Odunze. Seven of the stadium’s concession stands have been completely revamped and a new street taco vendor has been introduced to celebrate the rich diversity of Chicago’s 77 neighborhoods. These updates aim to bring a taste of the city to every corner of Soldier Field, enhancing the overall gameday experience.   This event also marked the beginning of a new multi-year partnership between the Chicago Bears and Levy, a Chicago-based hospitality leader. The partnership promises a faster, more enjoyable way to experience game day, with 60 new automated self-checkout stations that will help reduce lines and allow fans to spend more time cheering on the Bears. The collaboration is focused on delivering world-class hospitality while celebrating Chicago’s vibrant culinary scene. 🍽 🐻 ⬇

On Women’s Equality Day, we proudly celebrate the women across the Chicago Bears organization who inspire, lead and drive the franchise’s success. Whether breaking new ground in football operations or shaping the future of our organization in the front office, these women embody the resilience, innovation and dedication that help define the Chicago Bears.   In football operations, several women have made historic strides, breaking barriers to become integral parts of the Chicago Bears football team. Offensive Assistant/Running Backs Jennifer King, Player Personnel Coordinator Ashton Washington and Director of Wellness Carla Suber are redefining what’s possible in the NFL. Their impact extends far beyond the field, shaping our approach to coaching, scouting and players' mental health. These leaders and role models are paving the way for the next generation of women in sports, roles that were once out of reach for women in football.   In our front office, we’re proud to have over 80 women holding various roles that keep our organization performing at an elite level. From business strategy and community engagement to marketing and stadium operations, these women work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the Chicago Bears continue to thrive. Additionally, earlier this year, the Chicago Bears launched the Bears Women’s Advisory Board, a critical initiative aimed at enhancing the connection with female fans, building community engagement and championing diversity and inclusion. This dynamic group, led by eight remarkable women, brings together accomplished leaders from diverse backgrounds to ensure that the Chicago Bears efforts resonate with women and drive meaningful change across our organization and community. The board’s mission is to create an inclusive environment where all women feel valued and empowered to make an impact, both within the Chicago Bears family and beyond.   As we celebrate Women’s Equality Day, we are reminded that progress is built by empowering every woman to succeed and lead. The strength of the Chicago Bears comes from the diverse talents of the women who drive the organization forward. Their dedication inspires us to continue building a culture of equality, respect and opportunity, ensuring that every woman has the chance to make a lasting impact with the Chicago Bears and the NFL. 🐻 💙 🧡
