No. It wasn't up to either of them to release any information about the body being discovered. The trial that is taking place now is not to determine if the man was murdered...he's dead from a gunshot fired by a LA cop...that is indisputable. The trial is to determine if that LA cop overstepped his boundaries by firing the gun and with just or unjust cause. There is a chain of evidence that has to be followed and they were doing what they were suppose to do to ensure that the case that is being presented at that time isn't tainted.

It's not up to Bosch or Belk to give the judge any information. The judge at this time is only interested in what pertains to the case in front of them. The judge will probably read the newspaper and can come to his own conclusions.

If they'd told the judge, they'd also presumably have had to tell the Witch; she doesn't need any help from Bosch's side. Let her do her own dirty work.

>4 Sergeirocks: Not a big fan of Honey??? :)))

I wonder if they really needed to declare something that was pertinent to the case.

>5 Carol420: What gave it away Carol? 🤣 🧙♀️

>7 Andrew-theQM: I believe it was the "Witch" reference. I thought at first that he just got the first letter wrong but then thought no...he just doesn't want to get thrown off LibraryThing.:)

I think it's up to Harry's superiors to go the the District Attorney and let them know. Then they can notify Belk and the Judge.

>5 Carol420: I find the woman totally despicable, 😀.

I agree with Lynda. It’s not harry’s call to make.
I also agree with Sergei. Don’t like Honey.
I also agree with Sergei. Don’t like Honey.

I would think they should let the judge know only if it was related. They aren't even sure yet. Nothing has been proven yet.

>9 Olivermagnus: I agree. Also, they don’t know yet that it is the Dollmaker and not just someone causing trouble for the trial
