Got this on Early Reviews so am putting up a holding review, the book is a 28 day course (although I've read over a third of the book and am yet to reach the program, the book covering what somatic therapy and what trauma are first) so I'll update this once I've finished the course (or given up, as sometimes happens)
I chose this as a book I'd be interested in as I've never got on with talk therapy (the few times I've tried it) so as an alternative tis appealed. Let's see how it goes.
The book is written well despite the unnerving repetition of the author calling you, the reader, as 'my dear' every other page but I feel the introduction is a little long at a little under 50% of the book before you get to the 28 day part. ( )

Someone worked hard on this, but I really can't give it more than a middling review because somatic healing seems to me of life-and-death importance in many cases, and this text while long and seemingly extensive, seems less than completely serious. I can say that as an outline of the various facets of somatic therapy one might address, it may be useful. ( )
