About My Library

I am mostly a book borrower rather than an owner. I used to buy lots and lots of books until I moved to Chelmsford, MA, which has the most wonderful public library. I have since moved to Avondale, PA. Although my local library is just down the street, I seldom visit in person. I read many books a year on audio, which I get through Libby or Hoopla. Those that I read with my eyes on my beloved Kindle are through Prime Reading or through Libby.

About Me

Like everyone else on this site, I love to read. I usually have two books going at once - one on my Kindle (to read with my eyes, as I say), one in audio on my Mobile. I seldom read non-fiction. Within fiction, I seldom read science fiction or bodice-rippers. Other than that, I'm fairly non-discriminating as to genre. I manage to get through about 100-120 books a year, with 136 being my record, thanks to the pandemic lock down. Always looking for advice on what to read next!

I also love to sew, cook, walk, and swim laps. I haven't yet figured out how to swim laps and read, but the must be a way!
