Paul Giamatti is leaning into TV after his Oscar nomination.

The “Holdovers” actor has been announced to appear in “Star Trek: Starfleet Academy” and now will star in the highly-anticipated “Black Mirror” Season 7. And Giamatti isn’t the only beloved actor joining the Netflix anthology sci-fi series: “Sunny” star Rashida Jones, “The Penguin” actress Cristin Milioti, “Murder at the End of the World” actor Emma Corrin, and iconic mega-producer/actress Issa Rae are all appearing in the upcoming installment of the popular series.

The ensemble cast also includes “Black-ish” star Tracee Ellis Ross, “The Franchise” actor Billy Magnussen, “Nora from Queens” creator Awkwafina, and “Girls” alum Chris O’Dowd.

Milanka Brooks, Peter Capaldi, Patsy Ferran, Lewis Gribben, Osy Ikhile, Siena Kelly, Rosy McEwen, Paul G. Raymond, Jimmi Simpson, and Harriet Walter round out the cast.

“Black Mirror” Season 7 hails from creator Charlie Brooker. The series is billed as a “dark, satirical anthology.” Season 7 will debut in 2025 with six brand new episodes, including a sequel to the sci-fi adventure “USS Callister.”

Milioti, Magnussen, and Simpson previously starred in the “USS Callister” episode alongside Jesse Plemons and Michaela Coel. The 2017 episode also featured the voice of Aaron Paul and an uncredited cameo by Kirsten Dunst.

Brooker created the series, which he executive produces along with Jessica Rhoades and Annabel Jones. The production company is Broke & Bones.
