"If this film doesn't put you in your grave, you're already dead." Deranged Minds Ent. has revealed an official trailer for an indie horror creation called Inverted, which is premiering in Ohio at the end of this month. "Think you can survive the house of The Inverts?" It is described as a "psychedelic, grindhouse-esque slay-fest that feels like it would be the offspring of Rosemary's Baby and The Lord’s of Salem." If that sounds right up your alley, then give this trailer a look. The film follows an off-the-grid satanic cult in the 1970s that kidnap a diverse group of individuals to recruit for the Holy War against the second coming of Christ. The victims have a choice to join the family or fight to survive one of the most brutal satanic cults in the annals of American history... The Inverts. Starring Susan Lanier, Maria Olsen, Jennifer Nangle, Destinie Orndoff,...

Six friends head to prom, enjoying life and with plans to party the night away afterwards at a secluded house. It’s horror-slasher 101, really, as a premise. Something we’ve seen and heard many times over the years. That isn’t always a bad thing though, because sometimes you want a slasher that follows a basic plot, something you can chill out with and enjoy without any real surprises. Party Night gives you that here, a modern slasher with old-school slasher values. It’s teenage care-free types, a couple of teenage serious-types, and a house off the beaten track. Add a murderous psychopath to the cocktail and Bam… you have yourself a slasher-fest.

Tagline: "He Wants to See Your Insides." Terror Films is set to release Tristan Clay's Red Eye on digital platforms. The digital launch begins this February 9th. In the film, a West Virginian legend is found when several filmmakers head out into the woods; the results are gruesome. Red Eye stars: Jessica Cameron (Truth or Dare), Heather Dorff and Destinie Orndoff. A movie poster, trailer and early stills are hosted here. The poster and stills show lots of red. The legend of Red Eye is a murderous killer, who stalks the trails of Black Creek. The tagline for the poster reads: "he wants to see your insides." This tagline references the characters' intestines, not their deeper emotions and insights. The stills show several of the characters bloodied and bruised. The Red Eye killer does not like to share his part of the woods and everyone is under threat in this indie horror feature.

An eye-opening, or should I say door-opening, Q&A with the director of Never Open the Door courtesy of our very own Derek Anderson kicks off today's Horror Highlights! Also, we have trailers for both Pitchfork and Red Hollow and a call for submissions for Popcorn Fright Film Festival 2017.
Never Open the Door Q&A: Thanks for taking the time to answer some questions for us, Vito. When did you first come up with the idea for Never Open the Door?
Vito Trabucco: Thanks for having me. The idea first came from Chris Maltauro, my producer and co-writer, our camera operator Mike Bates, and me one night in a parking lot when we wrapped on another shoot. A few months prior I completed my first feature, Bloody Bloody Bible Camp. We were just eager to do another one.
Where did filming take place and what did that environment add...
