Luke Shrestha is an award winning engineer, record producer, songwriter and musician based in Los Angeles California. Luke began his professional music career in 2010 playing organ for multiple churches all over California and from 2011 to 2013, he won multiple awards for his organ performances. In 2013, he moved out to LA to pursue a full time career as a record producer and songwriter. Since then he has worked with artists and projects for 5 Seconds of Summer, Jessie J, Good Charlotte, Chance the Rapper, Party Favor and The Emmy Awards.
In 2013, Luke starting studying with Elizabeth Sellers, a distinguished student of Elmer Bernstein. Luke refined his musicality with many other distinguished composers and songwriters including Bruce Broughton, Timothy Howard, William Malpede and Jim Dooley. From 2014 to 2015, he worked for multi-platinum record producer John Feldmann on the 5 Seconds of Summer Record "Sounds Good Feels Good" which went number one on the Billboard 100. Also in 2015, he worked for multi platinum songwriters the Madden Brothers at their company MDDN. At his time their he worked on projects for artists such as Jessie J and Good Charlotte. In 2016 into early 2017, Luke started working for Om'mas Keith (Frank Ocean, John Legend), started a company with Simon Jay called Sound Tiger Songs that specializes in making radio ready productions for up and coming artists, and worked with hip hop artist James the Mormon who's last album went to number one on the billboard charts.
Luke currently is working with Chris Trousdale (Dreamstreet), Chris White (Skrillex, Lil Wayne, Control), and is working on scoring various movies and commercials. Luke just started an artist project as well with Simon Jay called "Chapters" that has just inked a branding deal with "The Cult Creatives" (Marshmallow, NGHTMRE, Party Favor) branding company. Luke is also continuing work with Sound Tiger Songs helping develop up and coming talent.
