Involved in theatre and music for 17 years. Performed in first stage
play at age seven at Odyssey of the Mind competition in Houston, Texas
(1986). Performed in musicals and stage plays throughout childhood,
junior high, high school, and college. Scholarship student in drama
while at Cisco Junior College in Cisco, Texas (2001-2002). Attended
Texas Tech University business school (2002-2005). Spent one school
year abroad (2003-2004) at the Anglo-American College in Prague, Czech
Republic. Produced and directed first short "In the Avenues and
Alleyways" (2004) in Prague which took the top prize at the 2005 KTXT
Film Festival in Lubbock. Graduated from Texas Tech University with BBA
in Management. Worked in New Mexico for Matrix International Training
and Intelligence producing marketing and promotional materials, and was
videographer on the Bill Richardson campaign for Governor of New Mexico
in 2006. Received IATSE membership in 2007 and began working on
features as a grip and lighting technician. Has worked as a set
technician on: The Men Who Stare At Goats (2008), Legion (2008), Did
You Hear About the Morgans? (2009), My One and Only (2008), the
Bollywood film Kites (2008), The Host (2012), and The Lone Ranger
(2012). From late 2009 to late 2011, built, staffed, and managed a
production division inside the Special Operations Command (now The
Presidential Special Guard) of the UAE Military (Abu Dhabi) and served
as its Production Director. He has also done EPK (Electronic Press Kit)
work for Herzog & Company.
